You're right. And Hillary has sent a special envoy to Caracas to learn how to implement the 're-education' program here at home.

President Hugo Chavez to submit to the oversight of his socialist government, a move some Venezuelans fear will impose leftist ideology in the classroom sounds like a real

...possibly for the US if we keep letting the leftist have their way.......soon we will have our own Hitlery Chavez! trust me!

...there is a real danger in the teaching community being liberal...it is attacking and brain washing our young right from under our noses.!

I think you are right, he is attempting to take away more of the the Venezuelan peoples rights and become a very bad control freak of a dictator. However, Chavez should review history, most very bad dictators got their just rewards in the end, Hitler, Stalin, Saddam, Mussolini, etc,

Well, yeah. I can see why. He's doing everything that the left in America wishes they could do and would do if they thought they could get away with it. I mean, gee, can't you see them drooling? I'm serious. An opportunity to impose their socialist, leftest ideology in the classroom as a matter of governmental policy? You hear it all the time from these folks. Wasn't it Kerry who said that reeducation camps weren't that bad. Speaks volumes. They'd be shaking and sweating from the, um, physiological affects of such a move.

So yeah, you're right on both counts. He's doing it and democrats across America applaud.
