AARP is releaseing commercials against both political parties, saying unless we stop having party politics, we will never accomplish anything.

Alan Greenspan, one of the greatest Economists of our time, says the war is mainly about oil, and both parties are failing.

When will we, as a society stop putting Party Politics in front of the good of the American People. Both parties are complete BS. They spend so much time fighting that they never accomplish anything Good for the people. There are so many bribes and special interest pay offs that laws are not passed for the good of the people, and the voice of the american people is not heard How much more obvious does it need to get? When will we, as American Citizens, demand our government, dem and republican, take Accountability. And when will we take our country back?! This is America, this is not a Political playground.

Take America Back!

Many Americans recognize the same problems mentioned and want to take our country back to an "of the people, by the people and for the people" system. What the politicians are doing is backfiring. Don't lose hope. I don't think AARP can be disallowed from freedom of speech. They have always had a political side. Though I have not always agreed with them, it is true we are not getting a balanced view from party politics

I think the average person in the US knows this.

Perhaps we all need to step back and look at ourselves.

Knowing what to do about an administration which has failed it's people is very difficult, after all we or rather the US people elected them to do what they promised.

I would love to see the American people take their country back, just as I would love to see Australians do the same.

Can we do the deed? I doubt it. We have lived too long in a trusted system.

Selfishness has killed integrity. I can't believe the amount of bold-faced lying going on now....as if the truth doesn't matter, even when it's in front of your face. It's the same old story about power corrupting. The only way to make the government employees accountable is to force them with exposure and regulations, etc. But it's not the first time this has happened in the world. History is rich with examples. I don't think that we're so arrogant, that we think we cornered the market on governmental bad behavior. One world, right?

I don't agree with your "doom and gloom" outlook.
I am an AARP member. I don't agree with the politics of AARP management. They should not even be involved in voicing political opinions. It is a life insurance company in disguise.

Mr. Greenspan is a banker. There is nothng great about him. He made some good decisions off of some good guesses.

Your third pararaph is a rant. It does not deserve a response.

It's actually what our system is designed to do. While no radical changes are made for the good, the system prevents radical change from harming our nation as well. Essentially, our government is designed to maintain the status quo. If you want things to change, then I suggest you make it your life's work to educate and motivate Americans to hold their government accountable.

It's Not.

Does anyone really know who the AARP is????????

AARP IS AN INSURANCE COMPANY.
That's ALL it is.

Anyone who quotes AARP isn't informed about anything.

Sorry, but I'm embarrassed for you.
