How do we set the course for world peace?

One author states "A nuclear strike on American soil is the only shock that will stop the painful indoctrination of world enslavement by the U.S."

Any thoughts?

Very good question... how can the arrogance that has grown so vast in the USA be stopped. I never can figure out why my fellow Americans seem to have such a feeling of being 'better than' or entitled for some reason to dictate to the rest of the world how to live.

Certainly, the author was correct in that one way to bring an arrogant powerhouse back down to hear is to teach them humility. But, I am assuming in your question that you might the MORAL way to find world peace and getting Americans to stop dictating to the world.

The only moral answer to that question would be to first get more Americans politically educated and secondly, to force the media to clean up its act and get balanced. Rove learned in the 80s that if you can control the airways, you can control what ppl think, believe in and whom they vote for.

the only standards set by the usa is the divide and conquer stance. without the usa, diplomacy might stand a chance.
so while the usa drags the world kicking and screaming into their dirty greedy little wars, people who hate the usa will always find ways of throwing a spanner in the works.

wipe the usa off the planet, use its destruction as a warning to the world. this is what happens when you become too arrogant and too greedy. i'm ready for the last days, are you?

the individuals & countries who prefer to live without american dominance in their countries will live on. the usa does such a fine job of destroying itself, the rest of the world will just sit back and wait.

american aggression will wipe out america, if your own people dont do it first. you americans should have a "give a 10yo a gun" day, that would help the rest of the world immensely.

I'm pretty sure a nuke strike on the US would result in immediate, interminable, martial law, along with widespread panic and paranoia. The economy would go right down the tubes forthwith. There'd be massive military retaliations, quite possibly themselves nuclear, in the works right away, along with a draft, and god knows what else.

The country would essentially go 100% fascist over night. Then you could wonder "how we set the course for world peace."

When Islamic terrorists stop blowing up markets and cutting the heads off people, then we may have peace. If there is ever a nuclear strike on U.S. soil, the perpetrators better give their hearts to God, because their asses will be toast. We would light up their world in a flash.

Waking up would be a good start.

Anyone who thinks that if we just came home and left everyone alone, there would suddenly be world peace knows nothing about our enemies or, their history.

We are not and have never been the nation calling for world domination and forced religious indoctrination.

The desire for world peace only stems from an immature understanding of the nature of the world. World peace is the symptom of the end, which is in fact just conduct.

If one believes that most peoples of the world want the same basic things....freedom, a happy family life, a rewarding occupation, their faith and recreation.....the road to peace is those same people agreeing to unite to take the power away from the criminals, big corporations, special interests, and partisan cigar puffers. 99 percent of the grief in the world is simply the wrong people being in charge......

The American rev. was about protecting American business interests . Their fore that ideology has spread around the world along with the great sums of money that has developed because of it over these hundreds of years as well as the perverted form of it . So the destruction of the US will not stop this cancer !

If that happened, assuming a Republican is the president, the USA would burn the world in a nuclear storm.

There is no such thing as peace. Just balance.

The author must be a self-hating American or just an America-hating person.

*Don't get me wrong. I'm all for peace. I just know it's not possible.
