When I think what made this country great I think of a couple things.
1) transcontinental railroad
2) interstate system.
It comes down to having infrastructure that promotes trade. Panama is supported almost entirely on the canal. We should encourage any and all infrastructure that improves trade. Thats my take on it whats yours?

Congressman Ron Paul is the only member of Congress who supports the Constitution and he is running for president. On this Constitution Day, shouldn't we recognize Ron Paul for his service in protecting the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

I was pulled over and ticketed for going the wrong way on a one-way street. There were no 'one way' or 'do not enter' signs posted, and only one car on the street at the time (facing opposite the direction I was going.) Also there were no lines on the street, and I don't usually drive in this area of downtown. I am going to fight it in court, arguing that under the circumstances I did not know it was one way, OK? (I took pictures of the street and intersection.) Should I plead innocent or 'guilty with an explanation'?

What is the biggest difference between the two being that WWII had most of Americans support and Iraq has our national leaders fighting against each other and taking non supportive actions to hurt any potential we may have to succeed.

In other words, why was there war bonds and support efforts during WWII, but currently all donations are being sent to political campaigns for special interest groups to assure person wealth.

The doctors there credit the Surge with the sharp decline in patients and deaths.

Last month there were 70 percent fewer processed in the morque and 50 percent fewer wounded compared to July. The director notes that car bombs have gone from 6-7 a day to 2 a week. They note that even the patients they do receive are from random gunfire and accidents rather than terrorist attacks. In one of their wards, they only had two patients, both being treated for non serious injuries.
In fact, according to the Iraqi Health minister, the main morgue in Baghdad has seen an even more dramatic decline. Whereas they used to receive 180 dead on days, now have many days with as few as 12. That’s pretty incredible for a city of that size.

OK, dad is thinking he is going to change jobs and is not sure what kind of insurence we will have. Or how long we will be without it. I do get urinary tract infections every once in a while and Dad says that I'm getting cut now while that is an option so there are no more worries about it.

I told him I don't want it. I say it's my penis and I like it as it is. It's going to be painful and will never feel the same.

Both Mom and Dad say I'm getting it done and that's final.

But I don't want it done. Can they force me?

My son is four years old. He has been with me his entire life and has only been to his fathers house once since birth. He call's his son, maybe, once a month and if he see's my son it is only because I give him a ride to where ever we are. He fails to give Christmas presents and birthday gifts, he has a criminal history, he parties often and has to be pleaded with to take time out to visit his son. He has only seen him once in 4 1/2 months and now that he is coming into a six figure settlement he wants to take me to court to have him for months at a time. Can he do this? What can I bring to court as evidence or to help me win this battle?

Without knowing anything about it, Republicans are already blasting it and renewing their angry cries that she's a socialist. Do republicans, honestly, even care about this issue? Isn't it relevant that every other modern country in the world basically has universal health care?

Hilliary Clinton has stated that had she been president when 9/11 happened we would not have gone to war. She states she voted for this war because President Bush lied to her, but her husband was the commander in chief/President for the previous eight years, if anyone was privvy to inforamtion it should have been she.
She voted for the war yet states had she been president at that time... Has she ever mentioned what she would have done differently? If so, what?

Has any of the presential candidates that criticize this war stated what they would have done? If so, what?

Do you think it would be a good idea to have a democratic debate structured for military personnel , past and present ?
I haven't heard this suggested before , but if it has and there's any way to join in the support , please do give me a link . They've run the gamut already with other groups . Everything from Spanish debates to the Daily Kos !!

Anyway , I think that it would be a great idea to have a debate in Iraq. . . with the military personnel as the audience and as the ones who ask the questions .

Agree ? -- Disagree ? -- Why ?

And please don't list 'security' as a reason that they can't do it in Iraq , cause everyone of us already knows that countless congressmen and senators have gone there with no problem whatsoever .

Try to be fair and rational .
