Wow! These groups must be a real super group to have me held hostage. Because I never knew I was being held hostage by these religions. So does that mean I am Baptist or Methodist? Because they held me hostage so fast I don't know which one did it now.

Thanks for looking out for me and making absolutely no sense about me, and well the country, being held hostage by these two groups. Whew, if these people can hold a whole country unknowingly as hostages. . . they should fight the war then. They can have all the terrorists killed off without them even knowing it!

What are you nuts?? No one in in this country over the age of 18 is held hostage by any religion unless they want to. If you don't agree with the Baptists and Methodists, don't listen. It's your right. So to answer your question, America is not held hostage.

how are you able to declare they carry you hostage , maximum hostage takers do no longer assist you to to speak out freely against them ... in the event that they held usa of america hostage there could be no such ingredient as being a Liberal , or Atheist , or perhaps gay's because of the fact as a hostage taker they could be working the tutor their way , and would not supply you with ( a hostage ) a voice to be heard. in case you're questioning because of the fact GOD is on each and every thing , properly that's what this usa became into in line with became into the perception in GOD , some international locations have been based on the Islamic ideals .. in case you do in comparison to what your usa Stands for , there is exits on the North , and South , Freedom of religion is a assure by ability of a central authority for freedom of perception for human beings and freedom of worship for human beings and communities. this is frequently known to additionally incorporate the liberty to no longer persist with any faith. So how is it the Baptist , and Methodist are preserving usa of america hostage , while different non religious , and Liberals are doing away with the very beginning up that equipped this usa which you look no longer too pleased with living in...perhaps your very own loss of preparation is what's preserving you hostage , ..if that's the case , do no longer blame faith , do as all people else who can no longer blame themselves ...Blame BUSH

How obtuse a view you have,

it would seem that you completely disregard the special interest groups and lobbyists outside of the religious spectrum that continue to force this country into ridiculous and redundant legislation that not only does not serve the best interests of the citizenship but also place them in a position of forced ankle grabbing prostitution for the causes less valid than the use of religion to dictate political policy

if it was any religion that was guilty of your ranting, it would be the catholics......Methodists and Baptists are pretty hard to find. Of what type of psycho-babble are you referring? I grew up a Methodist, though havent been to church in 20 yrs, and I have no idea what you are talking about. Please tell us.

For all of you bashing this persons opinion. Live where I do. You would see it differently. The only thing left out are the Catholics. If you think religion has nothing to do with policy you are mistaken. Yes they have the right to freedom of religion as the rest of us. Something that faction keeps forgetting. He wasn't talking about Islam/Muslims for you that tried to take it in that direction. He is talking here. Now all of you get those little fingers in an uproar and thumbs down me.

We are the only country where those who are religeous and those who obviously aren't can throw barbs at each other in real time and not end up getting carted away in the middle of the night for it.

They are the only 2 religions , you can be a Jehovah Witness, a Pentecostal (Holy Roly), Episcopal, their are a lot of religions you can choose. You can choose not to be any if you don't want to be Baptized, that is your choice , this is America we can choose or maybe Master Bush has decided he would be ."The Decider".

I'm sorry you feel this way about freedom of religion and free speech and right to assembly. Maybe those groups simply believe that the US has aborted enough babies for your god.
