I don't mean the Presidency, I mean the Congressional elections. Thanks to Hagel and Warner deserting the Republicans have to defend 22 of 34 seats in the next election. So again, how will they fair in the Senate and House.

For full details on this, see my previous post. Day or 2 after the post, the kid did end up beating up my son. Police were called to scene. We had witnesses. Filed summary offense. Parents, I hear, didn't care/weren't mad at their son for police coming to house. They let him go back to same fair 2 days later. I consulted a lawyer, gave him okay to write a letter which will be sent to parents, school officials. My next step lawyer says will be either file civil complaint or private criminal complaint (which lawyer leans toward). My son did not go to doctor, he had wounds on his head from being punched so hard, skin broken open and a 4-inch gash on his arm from falling. Kid is spreading rumors about my son now. I have someone who will testify to what he says. I really want kid to leave son alone, am afraid he will indeed get my son again. I'm afraid lawyer letter will infuriate kid. My son is in fear for 2 years now. I'm leaning toward civil suit and would like opinions

It looks like Thompson is going to come out pretty strongly against the budding anti-capitalist global warming dictatorship:

Personally, I'm tired of all the fear-mongering over natural climate variance. Do you think he'll be able to stop the man-made global warming scam?

i asked a question about if communism does not work why is china doing so well
and the overwhelming responce was that china proves that communism does not work beacuse they are becoming more capitalisic than where they where

so i ask by that logic, does that mean that capitalisum does not work either because the government has to regulate some industries like food, drug, energy?

Like in Afghanistan against the Russians?
They were fighting a 'foreign occupation', right?
But, the Russians regarded these 'fighters as 'insurgents/terrorists', right?

So, taking that line of logic, it must be okay for Iran to support the 'freedom fighters/terrorists' in Iraq, right?
They are fighting a 'foreign occupation', right?

It was okay for Bin Laden to do American bidding in Afghanistan, but not Iran/Syria's bidding in Iraq?
These countries are declared 'terrorist states', right?
And the US?

I smell hypocrisy!
And you?

Ok. My name is Zain. I moved to the United States from Pakistan when I was 10 months old. So, I grew up in America. Since I'm 13 years old now, I moved to the U.S. in 1994 and I have been living here ever since(2007), I'm in the naturalization process right now, I will be a U.S. Citizen in 2009(when I'm like 15 1/2 yrs old). Does it matter if I wasn't born here because I grew up here and was raised here all of my life except for 10 months, I even said my first words here like "mommy" and "daddy". So my point is: I grew up here, said my first words here, lived here basically all my life, so do I deserve to be called and considered an American?
