If you really are 6'5" and 300+ lbs you can gladly cut in front of me. Here as a matter of fact, take $20. Anyway, its intersting many of the most vociferous whiners about the world, govt, politicians are the ones least likely to participate in civic duties, namely voting. Their priorities are more governed by self induced pleasure. A recent poll, found the vast majority of viewers to the daily show dont vote at all, yet are the most likely to complain. The truth is, you are in control of your own destiny, you determine how high or low you can go. These people are the first to blame society on their own personal failures, and then wait in line for 12 hours to get the newest nintendo game. I waited in line for 2.5 hours when voting during the '04 elections. Its been shown the last likely to vote are the poorest of society.

Remember when Al Gore won the popular vote and Bush won the election?
Remember how twice now Floridians have had their ballots thown away?
Remember when Massachusetts ended up with gay marrriage and nobody got to vote?
At least I can wait in line and at least walk away with what I wanted!
Not my fault the iphone s*cks or the xbox overheated. I got what I came for!
P.S. It only took 10 days to get my money back for that stupid iphone but I got stuck with Bush for 8 years without a refund!

Unfortunately, we care more about short term values than long term. Personally, I'd rather wait in line to vote than for those material things. You only get one day to vote, but I can always get an iphone or xbox. We are the people of AMerica and our forefathers fought for us, so that we can live in the land of the free! COME OUT AND VOTE PEOPLE!

very good question and point.
i would say that people feel that the democratic process is a waste of time. after the outcomes of the last presidential elections were decided by unbelievable counts in two states, the electoral votes which defy logic, there may seem to little or no reason to expend the energy.
politicians seem to ignore the wishes of their constituents when they do get into office. the president doesn't seem to notice anything other than his own agenda. how dare the american people tell him what they want.

Because after standing in line to buy something, you generally have the item that you bought.
With voting, you won't get what you wanted no matter which of the two are chosen by the majority as the "lesser of two evils".

The people who queue up for days are idiots.
The people who vote know how important it is and are smart.
Greed has taken people away from the real world. Placed them in a little bubble where they are the only ones that matter, screw everybody else.

Neither one. The Lord is surely holy; thoroughly organic and of eternal easy. The Lord could in no way have something to do with the flaws of this international. he's no longer of this international yet of a international of finished perfection. In Heaven there is not any longer something to be mandatory; no longer something to be further. God is universal with all there is to appreciate approximately each and every element interior the entire universe from the tiniest to the main important. God is completed in Himself, lacking no longer something.

We are not patient people. We don't think long term, unfortunately. Our personal saving rate is very low, for example. TV shows resolve everything in 1 hour. Unfortunately Bin Laden knows this and he counting on our impatience to work against us.
