Is it possible to maintain a strong level of innovation at the same time? How would this work?

*Cons- I know you desperately want to answer this one, but please don't unless you can suggest something constructive from this point of view.

i ride my bike to the library every day (about a mile away). for stop signs, i don't stop unless there is a car coming. i usually just roll slowly through them. our neighborhood has police all over it and not one has said anthing to me, but is it still "illegal" to not stop at stop signs when riding a bike?

If it wasn't so hypocretical of all of the libs out there that have been making so much fun of GWB about his crying, it would not be worth the time to even look at the tape of Bill Clinton at the funeral of Ron Brown

I received a DUI in CO less than a week ago and heard that I can go get a license in another state before my hearing. I surrendered my license at the time of the traffic stop but I had a spare at home. Can I just take that one to another state and use my parents address in AL and get another one?

I just moved in over the weekend. The apt manager assigned me my parking slot. She mentions that another person is using that spot, but will call them to tell them not to park there anymore. I go to park later that night, and someone is parked in my spot. So I park in the "prospective tenant" parking, and immediately call the office and leaving a detailed message and requesting someone to call me back FIRST THING in the morning. Park over night, wake up in the morning to get breakfast, then try to park in my spot, and it's still taken! So I continue to park in the "prospective tenant" parking, I then go inside, eat , and get ready to go out, and my truck is gone! I never got a call from my apt complex, so clarify where to park. So technically I was a new tenant with no assigned parking spot. I had to pay $270 for towing. AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT? I email the Management Company directly, as well as left a voice mail with them. It's been 4 days. No reply backs!

Harry Reid declares "the war is lost"....why are so many dems in congress making these traitorous comments?...do they truly believe what they are saying, or are they hoping we really DO lose while a republican is in the White House for political gain?

Could it be that he's actually going to bring a POSITIVE report from Iraq? Could it be that the dems are afraid of hearing GOOD news from the ground forces? Could it be that with the general's report, the American people will FINALLY see their smoke and mirrors game for what it REALLY is?

This is question for all of our yahoo answers friends in the other first world industrial countries... How are your health care systems treating you? We hear alot of people in the U.S. say that your healthcare systems are aweful, but I'd like to hear it right from the source.

Or, if your country has awesome health care, let us know!

I was curious on how long you must serve? Not that I don't mind serving for awhile. It is a career. But say if you enter an officer in one service for say 9 years; can you transfer over to another service as an officer? Thanks.

What are they really planning for?

Do they know something we don't know?

The police state is almost complete. The market is going up and down, up only from the Federal bail outs!

You better wake up America!

All these things that you sheeple have been calling Liberals crazy for are coming true right before your very eyes!

This lifelong Republican is tired of being ignored by our Government! When are we going to to stand up and be counted!

This is our Nation and they are destroying it from the inside out all with the help of one simple word

Terrorism!

If Osama did plan and execute 9/11 - Bush, his administration and our Government are giving him exactly what he wants! The end of the American way of life, bankrupt our Nation and thin out and break our military!

Wake up!

We are losing our Freedoms for a security that seems more like a Civil Liberty stealing tool, than it is a benefit to our Nation!

I get this strange feeling that Bush is using him as a puppet.

Now retired, Commander Kolstad was a top-rated fighter pilot during his 20-year Navy career. Early in his career, he was accorded the honor of being selected to participate in the Navy's `Top Gun' air combat school, officially known as the U.S. Navy Fighter Weapons School. The Tom Cruise movie, "Top Gun" reflects the experience of the young Navy pilots at the school. Eleven years later, Commander Kolstad was further honored by being selected to become a `Top Gun' adversary instructor. While in the Navy, he flew F-4 Phantoms, A-4 Skyhawks, and F-14 Tomcats and completed 250 aircraft carrier landings.

Commander Kolstad is especially critical of the account of American Airlines Flight 77 that allegedly crashed into the Pentagon. He says, "At the Pentagon, the pilot of the Boeing 757 quite a feat of flying. I have 6,000 hours of flight time in Boeing 757's and 767's and I could not have flown it the way the flight path was described."

Why don't people listen to the experts?

As I understand it, the DC Appeals Court overturned the handgun ban. The mayor and lawyers want the gun ban to remain in place

Their petition says, “It is eminently reasonable to permit private ownership of other types of weapons, including shotguns and rifles, but ban the easily concealed and uniquely dangerous modern handgun,”

“Whatever right the Second Amendment guarantees, it does not require the District to stand by while its citizens die.”

Mayor Fenty said, “The only possible outcome of more handguns in the home is more violence.”

What do you think???

Jon had a question on a few minutes ago where he asked a smart question about Bush saying OPEC instead of APEC. Problem was, Jon spelled OPEC-----OPEN. I called him on it for making a mistake (just like Bush did). Apparently Jon deleted the question. How long will it be before he resubmits the question with the correct spelling?

Ku Klux Klan Advances

According to a report by the Associated Press, the Ku Klux Klan distributed leaflets in Virginia warning "Mexico is invading the United States and soon will demand we cede the southwestern states to their control, they already wave the flag of Mexico in our faces! They are not here to assimilate, they are here to form their own nation. And unless we get busy right NOW they will succeed!"

Clearly, white supremacist groups are using the anxiety over immigration and confusion about the undocumented to advance their own reprehensible and racist agenda. What is not as clearly known is that the primary target of the white supremacists is not Joe Public, but ICE and CBP officials. What the racists really seek is training and intelligence from those within law enforcement who can be duped into assisting them (source: Stratfor, a paysite). Thankfully, FBI and others who watch over the white supremacists are on to this, but the numbers are getting so large that some may slip thru the FBI cracks.
