If our government mandates this would you fight? How far would you go to fight it?

(I know.. it’s a bit alarmist/conspiracy theory’ish but, humor the question if you will)

Yeah, it's a bit alarmist, but we're moving towards that unless we do something about it.

Although we may not go to that extreme, we may already have a chip close to us. That RFID chip is easily embedded into the credit cards that we use today.

It's kinda hard to be without credit cards these days, because they're usually in your wallet. Unless you travel without your wallet, you will have them close to you, and you can technically be tracked.

The other RFID is in your cell phones. That, is already known, and your cell phone signal can be tracked by triangulating satellite signals. So, if you use a cell phone, you can be tracked with today's technology.

Although most people may not willingly allow a chip to be implanted, there may be a massive marketing campaign to make implanted chips the next 'cool' thing. That, MOST naieve Americans will fall for, (say about 80%) and will willingly implant chips just to be 'cool' or 'hip'. I believe it will begin with the younger, technologically savvy generation.

Trust me, it will happen without us knowing what hit us.

The resounding no's here astound me. If you haven't already been fighting to keep your social security number off of every f'n thing in the universe you've been asleep and/or comatose.

For those thinking you can have it surgically removed... dream on, once it's damaged, removed or whatever your credits (formerly known as money) will be cut off, remotely and electronically- no notice, no collecting $200, straight to jail.

Only for criminals!!! For crying out loud, you could be a convicted criminal just for protesting the government. But you dare to suggest that it's cool as long as your 'safe'. All I can say is OY VEY.

Americans have NO BALLS, none, zero, nada for the press 2 types.

The question is disturbing enough but all the answers here are REALLY over the top. Talk about uninformed. If you don't believe me... take a test drive.

Try living without your social security number for a year. Just refuse to ever, ever use it for one whole year- no matter WHAT. Then you'll understand that having slept through the first several increases in heat while government attempts to boil all the little freedom frog has already reached the temperature of putting everyone to sleep.

Oh yes, I presume the name calling will begin. Those that tell you of this doom are f&^% tards, nutballs, kooks, lunes etc, etc. Well, I'm pissed! And I seldom get this way in print but for G-d's sakes! Please check your own pulse... do you really think putting your eeny, weeny wittle feety down on the 'chip' is sufficient to end this diabolical plan?

You were given a constitutional republic- if you can keep it. Well, hmmm guess what. Now's the time to admit ya'll have screwed up.

For heaven's sake, human beings, seem for independent materials previously you come back to a determination some thing like it extremely is actual! all and sundry is mis-quoted in criminal techniques each and every of the time. In Hillary's case, she's been the mind-blowing wing's whipping woman for sixteen years! those adult adult males could desire to be rather threatened by ability of an clever, properly-knowledgeable woman! And this question did not belong in "being pregnant and Parenting".

No.

And if the GOP has its way, it will be put into law soon.

Especially considering that they passed the Patriot Act (which allows unfettered spying on Americans) and the Military Commissions Act (which allows the feds to target anyone as a terrorist and lock them up indefinitely without legal representation).

Its coming.

First they will say that the chips are to protect children from pedophiles and kidnappers.

Then they will say that if you want medical care, then you must have one.

Absolutely not! It is a violation of my right to privacy. I would fight it all the way. See, in Revelations, it talks about the mark of the beast. This is symbolically the same thing. I would rather die than take that chip. If you get it, then the government can track you down wherever you go. That is not a good thing.

This is just another ploy by the head Nazi at Homeland Sec. Sounds a lot like Big Brother and Nazism combined. And I would fight it to my last breath. This is supposed to be the land of freedom, not one idiots idea of freedom. Between the Homeland Sec Nazi and Georgie boy, this country will end up in another revolution rather sooner than later. In my opinion.

You bet your sweet petut I'd protest and I'd prohibit this. I'm not a criminal and this would be unconstitutional. I'd fight until my death to avoid this and I would ensure that I had numerous underground doctors who could remove them if they were implanted -- if I didn't learn to do it myself. I'd also find a way to disable them so they wouldn't work. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. For every new technology there is another technology that will disable or render it useless.

That is like asking if we would willingly take the mark of the beast in Revelations!

You can almost feel the glee from the religous Neocon right the closer we get to the end!

No wonder they could care less about the truth of 9/11!

It's all just a part of Jesus's return and the man made Rapture!

I see it eventually coming. I don't really see it as a "conspiracy", and to tell the truth? I'll fight it. I value my privacy, whether I'm doing anything wrong or not.

If I was in the military I would not have any problem with this to help find me if captured. And right now I do not find a problem with it otherwise since I don't associated with people that would not be suitable to the government.
