And then thoughtlessly removed his own question before we could answer it! So I've **restored** it, so I can provide the answer that I WOULD have given to that,

My answer to the asker's question is: "Are you aware that Yahoo's nutty censors just deleted one of 'Drink Me's' questions before more than just a handful of responders could reply? Looks like you're going after the wrong target!"

To "kevw25" -- Looks like Yahoo went on a deleting spree with his questions! The one I referred to indicated that it had been removed. When you removed your question (to which I referred above), they made it clear that it was YOU who withdrew it. Which is how I knew that the deletion in *your* case was not the fault of the censors.

To "Kayla" -- You said, "We all have to be politically correct." Yeah? Since when?!?

I have a sign on my office wall that's been there for almost a decade now. It reads ---

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS...
...is just as curable as any
other form of insanity.

Political correctness is fine when it aligns with common sense... and asinine when it aligns with stupidity and/or bigotry.

It all boils down to people's being egalitarian and fair-minded on a case-by-case basis. "Political correctness" therefore is a nebulous term, at best.

To "kevw25" -- A agree with your comment about blocking people. I have NEVER blocked anyone, no matter how much I've disagreed with him or her. I am a firm believer in freedom of speech and expression.

ok... personally, everyone should relax... this is only yahoo answers. I have never been offended by a group of words from a anonymous person; I don't get why people flag questions/answers for abuse.

I asked that question. I removed it because I realized after I posted it, that it doesn't matter. But my question to you is... Did they delete all of his questions, because I answered 2-3 of them and I cannot view any of them. And normally when a question is deleted, you see "this question has been removed" not "you cannot view this question at this time"

Yes but regardless, if it says "you cannot view this question at this time" It generally means you have been blocked from viewing the question.

Anyway, in retrospect, it really doesn't matter, I just hate when people block people because they oppose their point of view.

One of the ways deletions are done is by number of complaints. If 3 or more abuse complaints are sent within 5 minutes, the question is automatically deleted. Blocking a number of users may not be a good idea because it could inspire retaliatory abuse reporting.

I don't think yahoo' censors are nutty at all I know my son has his own account and likes to answer questions about gaming.....they have their reasons and they are most likely good ones too....We all have to be politically correct. Did you know they (my son and his friends) use yahoo answers to help them in school?

No, that person, along with Earnest, also blocked me as well.

It seems some folks can't accept the counter points of others...

I answered one of drink me's questions with sarcasm. I think it was lost on drink me, as this person connected to me! Be glad you are blocked and not stalked!

Well I responded in the same tone and in kind to one of his (or hers) question and got blocked. It's really silly.
