because he's an attractive black guy, or because of his stand on all the issues?

....in tune with what she likes issue wise.
Black is just a color.

I always wondered what would happen if Oprah ran for president.

Obama isn't black - he's bi-racial. His mother is as white as white can be. It's possible for a black person to support another brown person because of the issues. Some of us are smart enough to realize that supporting someone just because they happen to look like us is just as wrong as not supporting someone because of the color of their skin. No one questions a white persons motivation for supporting Obama. Why question hers or, rather, why assume that it has anything to do with race? I'm sick of people playing the race card at every turn (both black and white).

The idea that blacks would not rely on the same logic, reason and thoughtful analyses that everyone else relys on when choosing a candidate to support is 50 times more offensive than Don Imus could ever hope to be.

C'mon....are you serious? Oprah has a lot clout with the public, so whomever she endorses must be researched and carefully chosen! If she was for Hillary, you would think it's because they're both women. I think that it is great that she is somewhat involved in politics. Many people look to her as a role model, and many people will vote because of her actions.

I think Oprah is gaga over anyone who is African American.

I wouldn't be suprised if she convinced him years ago to run, back him, and advise vicariously through him because of her power.
It makes sense to me since she has most of her assets are in Illinois.

I wouldn't be surprised. (I don't watch or listen to her.) She probably thinks he's good looking - I don't see it.
