At the employer I recently started working with, they pay for our lunches (We don't get any breaks I don't think, not even $15). On the 30 minute lunches we are not allowed to leave the premises of the store or use our cellphones at all. They said it was an asset protection issue with using cellphones. We are not supposed to have cellphones in the building even.

This is a major restaurant chain, so I doubt they would make a mistake, I just wonder is it totally legal?

Think about something happening much bigger than 911.
A small rouge nation or a major world power or maybe just terrorists again. Launch a major strike and take out several major cities, cripple our armed forces with a cyber attack or do something to wreck our economy.
Which one of the current major candidates could best deal with, react to and help the nation through the threat and why do you think the person you choose would be the best?

Other than corperate rules do they have anyone other than the private security corperation to answer to for conduct ?

How or are their deaths reported ?

When does this become public knowledge - What is their mission ? Do they follow any sort of rules of engadgement ?

What are they paid as opposed to the regular armed forces that are over there now

Does it scare you that private armies are for sale to the highest bid - Should it scare you ?

My car was in another state and somebody took my car without my permission, and they never paid or even told me about tickes, and now I got some court date years later.

Is there anyway to curb this problem? The problem is rampant. People finish their cigarette in their car and then discreetly
drop it to the ground. Would I be charged with assault if I got out of my car, picked up the burning cigarette, and tossed it back into their car? I again come back to the question, what can be done about this
problem of littering, selfish smokers?

I got pulled over last night for driving without my headlights on, dispite being courteous and polite that jackass gave me the lamest ticket ever!Driving without my lights on. I'm planning on pleading not guilty and making these asses work for the fine that I might have to pay anyway. I also read that I could make a written defense without having to show in court. I live in Arizona I dont know if it is that way in all states.

A separate independent commission established by Congress to study Iraq's security forces is expected to recommend scrapping the 25,000-member national police force and starting over because it is so corrupt and influenced by sectarianism.

I just find it to be offensive to hear these people say stuff like

"Support the troops, bring them home!"

When what we hear is

"We want everything you've done to be for nothing. We want every death to be for nothing. We want to lose this war!"

Does anyone else find it funny that these people think they are fooling anyone but themselves?

Say, for example, you are the mom / dad / brother / sister / wife / husband of the person who perished fighting in a war, do you have the absolute right to request for the corpse back for burial?

And have there been instances where a military personnel have refused to open a closed casket because the body wasn't really there (due to it being unable to be retrieved in the battle)?

Can you demand to see the body and request for an open casket? Has it ever happened that an empty casket has gone home to family & friends of the loved one and be buried (empty)?

Sorry for the bluntness of my question but I was just wondering myself this. I have had ancestors who served in the military before, in my country.
