The recent legislation that banned using U.S. funds in transactions with gambling sites. While it's still pretty easy for people who want to gamble online to do so, it's an unnecessary law that attempts to give legitimacy to members of Congress who believe they should be able to regulate adult human activities.

Many Americans make a living playing online poker. They don't need people like Bill Frist telling them it isn't good for them to gamble when it's certainly been good for them!

With that I am also against our drug laws, despite my involvement in arresting and processing drug traffickers.

The pot law, it's sort of stupid when you think about it. I saw a report once where it showed all these car accidents and assaults on people where pot "was involved", but in every single case, the person was also drunk or on meth or coke or something too.

I'm glad that in some states they've pretty much legalized it, but we've a far way to go to make it fair.

Definitely the marijuana laws. It should be sold in packages and pre-rolled in liquor stores w/appropriate taxation and controls. If it was legal, I would have definitely used it during my chemo & radiation treatments for nausea, loss of appetite, etc.

Possession of small amounts of marijuana. Talk about a harmless "crime". Other civilzed countries don't even consider it. Maybe a small fine. Next would be prostitution & then gambling. Let's concentrate on violent crimes, including domestic violence.

Legal age of consent. Lower it to 16, and stop putting bf'gf's in jail over parents getting mad when they find out their kids are having sex. I would love to see a lawyer bring in all the old high school ex's of the prosecutor and judge to a hearing over it and see which one of them had sex before 18
