Before moving overseas for two years, I left the dresser with her and specifically told her NOT to put perfume bottles, hot liquids or anything else on top, or otherwise use coasters and/or cover the entire surface with something to prevent scratches or watermarks like this.

But she didn't do this, and this is exactly what I was afraid of happening...

Now there's an ugly, 3-inch diameter crescent-shaped watermark. It's very conspicuous, right in the middle of the top of the dresser--my beautiful oak furniture is ruined.

Shouldn't she pay me for it without there having to be a nasty family suit? I know that if I demand her to compensate me, she'll refuse.

She's just a selfish, irresponsible person and has always been mistreating my personal property like this...I feel a day in small claims court would be a good way to teach her a lesson in responsibility.

what certainly now looks like a 21st century dominated by guerrilla wars because no one is stupid enough to take on the US military in a conventional war?

Even in this day & age of the War on terror only about 5% of the entire US military budget is spent on US special forces & counter insurgency training while the rest of the US military is preparing for WW3 that will never come because if it does all the nuke weapons will take care of that war.

Are US military leaders so stupid that they don't realize all of that or can the US Defense industry not afford to lose those billons of US taxpayer dollars?

1) Can anyone tell me what the officer housing, benifits and lifestyle is like in the USAF?

2) As a 2nd Lieutenant, what will I be doing as a day to day job in the intel field? I qualified to do Linguistics, Imagery and Signal intel jobs as enlisted, which is the field that I will be going in to, but decided to do the intel route as an officer, since everyone says thats the way to go. If i wont be gathering the info first hand like an enlisted, what will I be doing daily as an officer in the intel side?

Why are Republicans always blamed for US foreign policy especially when it comes to Isreal & the middle east when there has been 5 democrats out of the 10 presidents since the "creatation" of Isreal in 1948. My point is politics aside they policys have had as much affect on US foreign policy as Republican even argueably more. So why is it that it always seems republicans are the only ones blamed for foreign policy. Clinton pulled out of Somalia & answered 13 terrorist attacks with just 2 cruise missiles Carter allowed the embassy to be held for 400 & something days.

There are 3 categories of children that can have parents that are illegally here:

1. Children born in Mexico and brought here through no fault of their own

2. Children born in the USA (citizens)

3. Children with one undocumented parent and one citizen parent.

With group #1- If they were brought here at a very young age this will be the only country they will remember. They are more "American" than anything else. If they have been here since infancy, what would it benefit anyone to have them removed- except that you could essentially stamp your feet and scream that you are right?

Group #2- These kids have rights. Like it or not, they are citizens. What if their parent is deported and leaves them here, foster homes are few- is that your tax dollars at work the way you want?

Group #3- If the bio-dad (or mom) is the soul or primary support for this family, his deportation could result in the family going on public assistance. Plus, psychology bills for growing up without dad

i have noticed that every firefighter i know have or own a gun. i go to the gun shop to buy a handgun, i see some guys wearing a local firefighter t shirt looking at guns. i go to the shooting range, i see some firefighters wearing a local firefighter t shirt and shooting their guns. i used to work as a cashier at a local store, when people come in to pay for something and they pay by credit card, i am required to see their i.d., when guys come in to pay by credit card, they show me their i.d., instead of showing me their driver license, they show me their firefighter license and right next to that i.d. in their wallet is a concealed handgun license. why? why do all firefighters carry guns and always look pissed off for? their not cops, its not like they have the right to use their gun and shoot people. - no disrespect to firefighters

They will be able to go ANYWHERE they want to and the cops can't ask them the same questions which they ask our very own trucks. How many people are going to die from this madness and unsafe trucks will we see on our own roads?

This is not a racist question either, because I have FACTS at my disposal to back up my comments about Mexican trucks not being safe.

I, like Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones, have no sympathy for illegal immigrants whatsoever, nor will I ever! I'm sick of always seeing the damned media siding with the pro illegal side! prior to receiving one, each client has signed an agreement specifying interest rate of 18% if not paid within 15 days. Statements also make this clear. Despite, this, the majority of my statements are not paid on time. Because I don't want to be a bank, I charge a high rate of interest. Clients don;t seem to care - they either ignore and pay the orig balance eventually, or sometimes just go ahead and pay with int. But hate having to chase them down and the interest can lead to disputes / hard feelings. Lately, instead of just throwing in stuff for free, I itemize it, list price, then indicate on bill it's free if statement is paid on time; if not, it's going to be on next statement. This is also made clear in plain English on statement - it too fails to motivate timely payment from most clients. Any recommendations? Maybe 15 days is too quick, but I fail to see how a 30 day deadline is going to make anyone pay any quicker!? The credit cards and others don't allow 30 days.

Ok, here is what happened !,, I sold some frames and doors (used) to this lady, I deliver the stuff to the construction site,.. She gave me a Check , I make the deposit ; and I just receive the note from the bank ........NO funds !!
both Checking accounts; her check and my Account (where I deposited) , thanks in advance for Smart Answers. Not for stupid people that can just say...."YOU ARE F----K" .... TKS.
