Hey windwalker....I'm not a billionaire, but I am a proud Republican. And the reason I'm a Republican is that I don't want the Democrats to put their hands in my pocket and wallet, taking what little bit I do have. You show me a newly elected Democrat and I'll show you a tax increase bill being drafted.

A poor American can become a Republican as long as he lives to its platform of being a conservative. There are many Republicans who are not billionaires but can become one someday.

It's not about money. It's about a way of life. If you want to be in control your life, you should be republican. But if you want others to spend your money, and control your every move(eventually), then be a Democrat. I believe that JFK, would have slapped his brother a few times if he were still alive today.

Because in the last fifty years I've observed politics, the Democrats have talked about being for the little guy, but the Republicans are the only ones that have actually been doing something about it.

Talk doesn't help me. Action helps me. Lowering my taxes helps me. Raising my taxes doesn't help me.

Over the years, I've come to see the Republicans as the ones who fight for the individuals ability and opportunity to be successful.

Democrats fight for the group to be average.

Recently it seems that Democrats are becoming less and less liberal. Most of them want to do away with private gun ownership, which is far from liberal at all. Just to keep my guns and prevent another crippled federal or state gun law being passed, I'm going to vote Republican. Then all we need to do is get them out of our bedrooms.

I would like to see a school voucher system put in place to help primarily inner city kids escape poor governmental schools. Democrats block that idea every time.
