you must be in a legal writing class. They're pretty simple:
Tinker Rule - The school CAN limit the speech of students, but only if it disrupts the classroom.
Bethel - pretty much the same thing.
Hazelwood - again, pretty much the same thing, but applied to publications of students in classes that are ELECTIVES, rather than being required.
I HIGHLY recommend that you read Doe v. Pulaski. Make sure you get the last (there are 2 or 3 of them). It puts forth a great test for limiting free speech with respect to students & threats.
Also, you might want to look at a fairly new decision: Virginia v. Black
