Yeah, I am from Maryland, and it is getting really bad out here, I smoke by the way, anyway, at my local hospital, where I work, you cant smoke out side anywhere on the premises, I was sitting in my car, in the parking lot about 50 feet away from the hospital,( with my windows rolled up) and a security gaurd came and knocked on my window and gave me a ticket!!!! $35 dollars, its so damn stupied how they have gotten, I mean I can understand in the doorways or somthing, but a parking lot?? or inside your own car? Give me a break!

I'm in Washington, last year they passed a statewide ban on smoking indoors at places of business; also prohibits smoking within 25 feet of a building entrance (or 30 feet, I forget which).

I live in Arkansas and smoking is prohibited in any workplace, public building or business. I am waiting to see what happens because two restaurants have opened as Smokers places.
