I recently posted a question concerning the satellite surveillance program that takes effect October 1st. I was very surprised to see the silly answers that I received. Some people stated that they were not criminals so they didnot need to worry. That's exactly why we lose our constitutional rights. If you do not care for yourself...think of these programs and laws like the raises in electric bills. Once the government gets something they do not ever let it go. The news is that it can see through walls, bricks and that congress is questioning whether it is constitutional and what issues need to be addressed regarding our safety. This technology has the power to zap humans and burn them. Yet, I got answers like people that question this wear tin hats. That only proved that some people do not read anything about new technology. The good news is this: There are people out there fighting for your rights just as MLK fought for those who remained silent many years ago.

Will the DREAM Act pass? I personally support the DREAM Act but I want other people's opinions. First off, all of the kids who this would effect were brought young and had no say on coming, also they probably didnt know that they were illegal until maybe once they finished high school, which by then its too late for them to do anything about it, even if they did know before that what could they do? Illegally go back and then try to come legally? I understand that technically they are still "illegal" but can you blame then for what their parents did to them? Its like calling a kid a killer just because his father killed someone, not best example. Secondly, I thought we were trying to get rid of the illegals who cause crime and hurt the US, not those who actually want to be part of it. Another issue that people have with the act is that it would be taxpayers money used, some of them probably are tax payers themselves, also what about the thousands of dollars that arent used each year?

I'm asking this because my sister is in this exact situation.
5 years ago she was drugged and date raped by a friend of the family. She did not report it to the police.
1 month later she found out that she was pregnant and decided to keep the baby. Her current boyfriend at the time stood by her decision. They are now married, he signed the birth certificate, the child is 4 years old and thinks my sister's husband is her natural father. They have decided to never tell the child otherwise.
So, I guess my question is...if it was ever found out, could there be legal problems? What do you think about this in an ethical sense? Does a rapist deserve to know that he fathered a child or do you think he forfeited all his rights when he committed the crime?
Thanks!

Was it a top priority of Clinton to protect innocent people?

Isn't that the first thing policemen are taught to do?

Last night I heard that a**hole Glen Beck on CNN going on about how it is not a big deal that we're ranked 37th in the world for Health Care because even if not everyone is covered, the people that are covered get superior care than that of other nations - he then proceeded to say that who cares what the World Health Organization thinks anyway because they are a bunch of socialists......WTF?
So answer me this for those who agree with him - We have basic nessecities that we totally take for granted, we can call the cops if we are victims of crime, we can call the fire department if our house in on fire, our garbage gets taken away even if we don't pay for it....these are all things that are given to us because we pay taxes......why should health care be any different? Health care is covered in many other democratic nations and it's not considered "socialism", it's a basic human right!

Fairly simple question: Do you believe in absolutes?

Personally, I don't think any absolutes exist, including an absolute lack of absolutes.

the unilateral Harry Reid surrender
the non taxpaying territorial vote grant
36000 carded non debated unrelated pork spending requests to the defense bill authorized by Pelosi
the ridiculous Pelosi/Reid all nighter
the freely admitted lying in the democratic debates
the Pelosi/AND edwards quotes of we have no choice but to raise taxes
...at face value, there must be some reason theyre still getting votes. I wonder if it might be an altered state of mind?

If a terrorist or other enemy of the U.S. could vote in the next Presidential election (or Congressional election), who do you think they would vote for? Why? What do you think this says about the candidate or party? I think this is a question all Americans should ask & answer for themselves.

I am not American but I live in America. I am not into politics yet I know it shapes the way America is run and that is why America sucks because Bush is president, anyway Bush is a republican and republicans always talk about doing good yet most of them are closet racist, closet gays and closet perverts. Why are they like this and why doesn't the American people realize this.

the best answer was
"Bruce M
THE Flag is a symbol. A flag is a piece of cloth. You can burn a piece of cloth. You cannot burn THE Flag. We can only destroy it's meaning by betraying the foundations on which our country was established. I'd really prefer that kids pledge allegiance to the Constitution the way elected officials do, "to preserve, protect and defend"

what do you think

Will they ever realize they are not the only people in the world do go through a disaster? Will they ever stop expecting the "government and President Bush" to make their lives the same as they were before Katrina. If my life had been turned upside like theirs was two years ago, I would have moved on and started to rebuild by now. It's been two years! Stop crying and stop taking care of yourself and your family. While the WWII generation is known as the greatest generation, I think the Katrina New Orleans generation will be known as the most embarrassing of the American generations. How about showing some backbone and doing something for yourselves?

I don't even have to SAY anything here.

The Firefighters, who survived 9/11, Rudy is basing his ENTIRE campaign upon have turned against him - NOT to support ANY other candidate - ONLY to ensure he does NOT get elected.

They've exposed his complete lack of preparation, complete disregard for safety when personal profit was an option...

I won't add anything else...
The video speaks for itself.

I'll only say to share the link;
