coragryph (below) Disagree. Hillary stauchly supported the Iraq fiasco for three years following the initial invasion. She suddenly changed tracks months before announcing her bid for the presidency.

Romney said while running for Governor, he strongly supported a woman's right to choose, aka abortion.

No offense, genius. But, what do you expect with politicians?

I'm a bit confused how people think Hillary has flip-flopped on the Iraq issue -- she voted in favor of the initial invasion, which was to depose Saddam.

Saddam is gone. That part is done. Mission Accomplished.

We are in a completely different factual and political situation now than we were 5~6 years ago -- and completely different situations often allow (or require) different choices.

As for Romney -- he admits he changed his mind, or changed his application of his beliefs. He's entitled to do that.

I agree with him that people should stop bashing him just because they've believed the same things that he now believes, but they've believed it longer than he has.

Romney; Because like you say, It's on just about everything - Not to mention it's convenient proximity to a Presidential bid. Lots of people have changed their minds on Iraq as they chaos all of us who opposed it at the start tried to tell you there would be has unfolded. Iraq's gone from mid 60% support to high 20% as it's drug on and on. America's mind changed with Hillary; Her situation is at least a bit more understandable if not possibly just as political...
