... and send the money to Haiti.

Pelosi's flight to California this weekend could have fed 90,000 in Haiti.

What will Nancy do to help the truly poor people?

Will Edwards give up his $400 haircuts to feed 400 people for a day?

So many times I see people in here saying that illegals do not pay taxes and they DO. Last night I posted a question asking people for help with something I am writing for free that can help some people have less difficulty to be able to be legaly ok on income taxes and take legitimate tax deductions like everyone else can. I got a few positive answers saying it is a good thing (Thank You!) and 1 offer of help (Thank You!) from nice people. Some other replys were "the govt already has instructions how to do this so why bother?" (Because the govt SUX at it!)

And I got very mean replys that said that I am doing a bad thing and against America!

What's up with that??

How can we convince employers to keep their production in our own country? Maybe a nation-wide boycott of a luxury product would help. By that I mean, toys, autos, electronic equipment, or whatever. I know it costs more to manufacture here, but the greed at the top is pretty extravagant. Middle and lower classes in the U.S. are struggling, while the rich get richer. I pity the thousands who can't affdord the mortgages on their new homes. Bankruptcy is at an all-time high, according to the L.A.Times. I know, bad loans. Any ideas?

Reserve deputy-a sheriff deputy that works when available,no pay.Right now the one car for 8 deputies is parked at the county garage. It would be a lot easier if you would be able to just go in your garage and start your shift instead of driving out of your way to transfer your equipment from your P.O.V to the sheriff car, also saves a lot of time.

I have some friends who are Conservative and some who are Liberal. Should I say I'm Conservative [which I'm not] to the Liberals, I'll get a mouthful. Should I say I'm Liberal to [which I'm not] to the Conservatives, I'll also get a mouthful.

It isn't just me. This melodramatic attitude is everywhere, and I think people take it way too seriously. I also think they're just trying to put on a show.

I disagree with a lot of people about a lot of things. For one, I hate anything but sauce and cheese on my pizza. You don't see me going around and sending death stares at people who get 200 toppings on their pizza. While pizza isn't the same as politics because politics involves running a country, they are parallel in that they both involve opinions.

My question: Why can't all of these immature and bratty politic-hounds accept each others' differences and MOVE ON? Why is everyone so dramatic?

It Reagan about 15-20 years to get the credit he deserved. At the end of his Presidency his ratings were in the 30's as well. Doesn't it seem like we beat up our two term presidents no matter what party affiliation?

The National Guard is building the fence. Deportations are taking place and ICE is raiding employers who hire illegals. There is outrage over the illegal that killed those people. Sure there is a long road ahead but things are going well right now. I can't wait for the day there are no illegals left.

As a hypothetical situation, say someone commits a crime and is arrested. Then, shortly before their trial, more laws are passed that could effect the punishment for the crime comitted. Would the court system also prosecute for these new laws, or would they not because technically they were not laws when the person broke them?

The terrorists had legal documents and IDs when they attacked. How will putting everyone's information in one huge data base, plus the cost of implementing it, and the potential for abuse helping? Not to mention create a national id card that would infringe on state and individual rights? How can we call ourselves a free country when those living in states that reject it need a passport to simply go into a federal park?

2 cops pulled up to me while I was sitting in the fire lane at a local Walmart.(about 40 feet from the front entrance.) My engine was running and I was in the drivers seat. If they would have asked me to move I would have. I explained to them that my husband will be out in just a minute and they went straight for my license and registration. My purpose in stopping there was so that I could see when my husband exitted the store. The entire storefront is full of handicapped spaces and there is nowhere close to park to see him come out. There are no signs outside of the Walmart indicating NO PARKING other than the stripes on the ground that say FIRE LANE. But, I was just standing there for a few moments. Should I bother to fight it?

Yeah, yeah, I know, all the idiot libs think their guy is going to win. Just like last time. And the time before that. In fact, libs put only 2 democrats in the White House in the last 38 years! Apparently, America thinks libs are a whiny bunch of losers who are best suited for keeping the bench warm. In spite of the likely outcome, libs work themselves into a frenzy believing they will win, only to get equally frenzied about assigning blame (it's never their stupid ideas that voters reject) to someboby else when they lose. So, have they picked out any scapegoats yet?

My brother use to be in the Army not to long ago, and while in the Army he chose to get married to a young woman just to make a little bit more money on his check! What a loser! But he has a girlfriend back here at home and what to be with her badly althought his slow butt is married! Now he wants a divorce and the young woman won't give it to him, also she getting ready to be deployed next month. He says that if he gets a divorce that she could take him for everything that he has. But never the less instead of him leaving the good life with his wife he chose to live back at home with his girlfriend and tough it out day after day. Everyone tells him to go live with his wife because she's better off with her than with his girlfriend. The wife has a big beautiful house, three car's and a very happy bank account. To tell you the truth I don't understand why he was to stay with his girlfriend living in a packed house. How can he get this divorce, does he have to wait until she comes back!

I am buying a home based on my income and credit. My boyfriend will be living w/me. (We've been together 3 years). On some paperwork they mailed for me to sign, I noticed it had his income listed in the paperwork. Nowhere did it mention "co-owner or co-signer". It just had his name and income. Does this make him a partial owner?
The statement above his name was 'list all persons that will live in the home'. ..Just wondering. Thanks for your replies!!
