So many times I see people in here saying that illegals do not pay taxes and they DO. Last night I posted a question asking people for help with something I am writing for free that can help some people have less difficulty to be able to be legaly ok on income taxes and take legitimate tax deductions like everyone else can. I got a few positive answers saying it is a good thing (Thank You!) and 1 offer of help (Thank You!) from nice people. Some other replys were "the govt already has instructions how to do this so why bother?" (Because the govt SUX at it!)
And I got very mean replys that said that I am doing a bad thing and against America!
What's up with that??

Yeah, see...that's the thing. People like to complain that they don't pay taxes (even though MANY of them do) yet when you try to help them do so they scream at you. Same as not letting them have a driver's license & get insurance even though you KNOW they're going to drive. It's almost like people have a "let's pretend they're not here & maybe they will go away" attitude. They're here. They're staying. We might as well document them & tax them like the rest of us.

I reckon even though you try to sound positive about something, some people would find that your proactivity may alter their status quo.
To be fair, I reckon it would be highly impossible to only find "postive" feedback to your posting since this internet space is made to get all sorts of responses. From that point of view, this is the result of diversity. And diversity comes in all sorts of tastes and flavors, even though some might be sour.
If we want to see it positively, it's the benefit of not having everyone thinking in the same way, or else this would be a very boring world.

OK,I will try and explain this as easily as possible,I dont know why I waste my time,I think people like you think 9-11 was a fairy tale or something............anyway.......... Illegals get feak documents,its a piece of cake you can get one down at the border for the asking a a little cash,you come to AMERICA, You usually have a baby as soon as possible so you can get all the government assistance tax payers pay for.Then when tax time comes since your ID is feak you can claim as many dependants as you like,because whos gonna know! Hence because you are a poor ,uneducated,low income individual you get a huge tax refund to support your family,you see how easy that is to understand why Americans are fed up now??????????

I have been doing tax returns for years. Did them at the shelter for the homeless and low income for free. I did not see your question but email me I may be able to help. I am no expert but have done a few hundred over the last 10 years. And you are correct, a lot of people cannot understand the instructions.

Some do (about half, per studies), and it is generous of you to donate your time to help them. My views on illegal immigration aside, I am all in favor of people paying taxes. Now if those illegally here taking education and other services are trying to get the federal credit for OUR poor, I'd feel differently about that.

I know of 1 company right now that employs illegals and none zero, nada, pay income taxes, or SS tax, It is an underground economy . this is not an isolated case it is rampant through out the nation..

They are rude and not willing to help in anyway, shape, or form. I feel if you really dont have an answer to a specific question dont reply to it . IF you do get that to work share it with me I would love to post it. If it will help somebody. I am all for it.
