It's hard to enforce that kind of stance when people may love it and want to change it. I mean, if we didn't have the right to change our country, we would definitely want to leave I'm sure. But aside from that, if you don't like the people that live in the country or the basis the country was founded on I think you should leave. I mean, if you can't honor freedom of speech, freedom of religion, other basic freedoms that make this country great, then, yes, you should probably leave because we cannot lose these freedoms and remain great.

I agree with eldude. I dont understand why people from other countries love to come and live here in the US when they hate it so much. They left their country bcoz they cant stand their government, and so they came here and want to do what they want? Isnt that interesting? People are just being ungrateful. Love it or leave it is correct, but to enforce this, politicians should stop politicing and start doing their jobs, make laws that protect America and its people.

Although I generally like the idea, the notion of trying to enforce it somehow is silly.

And go where?????????????

America is the best available but not the best possible and that is the key point.

If something can be better than it is humans nature to pursue that state.

i disagree with that, what does loving it have to do with anything, if you obey all laws and respect other people, i've never understood why people say love it or leave it, its stupid. Its not like we're living in Germany under Hitler, we have freedom in america, and that includes freedom of thought.

If and when, God forbid, we really have to defend an invasion of our country, I hope we would all stand united...if not, there is very a risk of becoming a sandbag...
