Well they have these strange concepts about people from outside the USA
(1)They are the only nation that has “freedom”
(2)That all countries are either “Communist or Socialist” Mind you most of them can’t tell the difference between the two.
(3)No other country outside the USA know what democracy is
(4)Most basis their view on what they hear and see on TV. Again the brainwashed there by the media and stereotypes.
(5)Only 17% of Americans hold a passport. Well that says a lot.
(6)Since you mention “Free Health Care” Huh remember you live in a Socialist Country. That would be the typical response to your question. Oops forgot we all Jealous
PS The word Democracy comes from the Greek word "Demokratia"

You do not have free health care! You may not have to pay when you see the doctor or go to the hospital, but you do pay for it. Every time you get a pay check and up to 50% goes to pay taxes you are paying for your health care.
Nothing is really ever free. It may feel free, but someone some where is paying for it.
I have had first hand experience with medical treatment in a socialized country (where as you say medical treatment is "free"). Well I would rather be uninsured and have treatment in the United States then get free medical treatment again.
The American medical system is not perfect by any means but there is good medicine practiced in the United States.

I didn't know we Americans did think this! And personally I could care less. As for your free healthcare trust me, you aren't getting it free! I've read all the postings from around the world about their free healthcare which is one reason so many of us don't want it!

Well, I don't know where you live, but do they have to have a quota that is backed up for years to get in?? They have free health care in Cuba, do you know anybody who is trying to go their??? There is more to life than free health care. What good is free health care if it's not GOOD health care, or you have to get on a list to get on a list to see a doctor ??? America is the land of opportunity, has been and still is. I can be anything I care to work to be, can you do that where you live. I can worship in any church I please, and if I don't want to worship, I don't have to, can you do that?? Where did your Free health care doctors go to school, I'll bet many came to America for the best education in the world. Finally, How many Americans do you see leaving to go live in your country, I don't think to many, what does that tell you???

There is no such thing as free. Everything, comes with a cost. If you live in Europe it is the cost of living. By the way i could care less if the world was begging to live in the U.S because we are fine just the way we are.

Because many risk their lives to come here. Also we have an Immigration Lottery AKA the green card lottery for most countries and it is "sold out" every year.
Regarding "free" healthcare; you get what you pay for.
European born naturalized US citizen. Half of my relatives would love to move here.

because, for instance, if we had "free healthcare" they would take more out of my paycheck then how much healthcare is costing me
oops, did i say that outloud
oh yea, and we get cool advancements in medical technology much quicker. Like that new cyberknife that fights cancer for many people without having to go through chemotherapy

Most of the world is happy living where they are, plus, most of the world is too far away to make it a reasonable aspiration to live in the USA. I think at least 20 million people from Mexico want to live here though because they have come here, that is by no means the entire world but it's a good portion of the country!

Yea, but at least we don't have to wait 8 months to actually get healthcare. My friend it is not free, how much money did they take out of your paycheck? Or do you even work?
