With 40% of households with a net worth less than 10k, unemployment for those between 21-30 at 9.6%, foreclosures at a record high, many college grads out of school for 2 plus years and still can only find temp work, religion controlling our lives..............

The world needs a democratic Iraq .
The world is better off without Saddam .
The world needs to join America and combat terrorism .




Seems that if the world is free and we choose to think differently then Islamic terrorists then we will be killed .




Only by accepting Islamic values and traditions will the terrorism stop .




SO to end terrorism we should all become Islamic followers of Mohammad.




The other option is to end Islamic teaching that leads to terrorism .

Ok so I moved into my apartment and the gas was already turned on. The bill was in the old tenants name and not in the home owners name. A shut off notice showed up months ago, but it is still on and no bill or notice has showed up again. If the gas company catches this(which I'm sure they will) who will be held responsible? Me(the current tenant), the home owner, or the past tenant?

Criminals must know, they cannot obey the law. Enforcing max penalty will certainly do so, forcing criminals to think about their actions. Plus, by the time they get spending so much time in prison for the first offense, dont you think they will think twice about it next time?

How do Republicans square that their leadership knew what a quagmire Iraq would be? In what way was this good for our country?

It a crazy idea that popped into head. What if the US, Canada, and Mexico started something like the EU. Mexicans are already entering the country nonstop and canada gives us lots of products. It would be a good idea, but knowing that we (Americans) wouldn't want to change the dollar and the possiblity that once people from Canada and Mexico enter the US adn not come back is high. What do you think.

So for as long as i can remeber ive wanted to be a Marine. But when my grandfather died that all changed, my mom would cry when I brought it up and finally one day she made me promise to not be in the military because she didnt want to lose me. I told her i couldnt do that and I would think of other branchs. I picked the Navy since said grandfather was in it and i thought it would be appropriate.
Now as it gets closer and closer to college when i do rotc, i keep second guessing myself and i still want to be a marine, being in the navy just doenst feel right for me. And if i feel if i break her promise it woudl ruin our relationship, and i feel somewhat selfish for not thinkign about what the rest of my family thinks. But on the other hand its my life and i think i should be able to control what i do with it, and not them(my family). so any insite on this situation would be greatly appricated.

Even though the military is under "Don't ask; Don't Tell", I've heard that if higher ups in the Navy have an ikling that a person is of that persussion, they will transfer that person to a ship that is known as a "gay" ship. People who are also gay know of these ships (I guess through the grapevine) and sometimes ask to be assigned to them.

people argue that israel has a right to exist. israeli state was made in 1948 not too long ago. so before 1948 palestinians occupied it because it was there land. israel comes in 1948, slaughters palestinians, steals there land, calls it israel, and people are wondering why palestinians dont recognize israel as a state.

Why is the U.S using OUR tax money to help israel defence (as if they need it more than us). shouldn't someone say something, and dosn't the U.S have a war to fight that needs funding. All she talks about is the failings of this administration. We know all about that. What is she going to do to make my life better. More taxes will not help me. Soft on crime will not help me. Her immigration ideas will not help me. Her government controlled health care programs will definatly not help me. The whole democrat partys support of the ACLU is a joke. I do believe that gays should have the SAME rights as me, not more. My guns ARE registered. So why should I vote for her, or Barack? They have no idea how to get us out of Iraq.
