Neither liberals or conservatives control the poll numbers. The GOP also "knew" that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, that Saddam was directly involved in 9/11, that the Iraqi's would greet us as liberators, that "Brownie" was doing a heckuva job after Katrina... if the GOP says the Democrats have low poll numbers I'll bet the Democrats are ecstatic!

Ok. Post your "source." Simple as that.

(As long as it's a credible, neutral polling source, not something cooked up by the Heritage Institute or some other notoriously Right-wing propaganda machine)

Poll numbers for all politicians and government officials are down. Still, the trend is for people to hate the GOP much more than any other group.

Here's an interesting, recent study by the Pew Research Center.

With Bush's approval rating at 35% and the democratic Congress' rating at 25%, that means 40% of people can't stand either one.

(I realize that these figures don't prove my conclusion, but I think they do indicate that it is probable.)

Maybe because the evidence says exactly the opposite? I notice you provided no evidence of your claim, good luck finding any.

No one claims that but cons. The libs point out how low Bush's ratings are. It is the cons who point out the rest.

Once again you read into something only what you want. Perhaps it is the narrow mind or the seeing only in black and white that makes you see things that way. Oh well, live and let live.

It's not in their favor so of course they aren't going to believe it.
