No, Global warming is caused by cyclic changes in the sun's intensity and by overemphasizing temperature readings from decades ago. (read the temperature over a field, then read it again when it is paved over and tell me which is higher?)

I believe that the percentage effect people have on the natural cycles of the planet, as compared to the amount of "change" we can actually put into place is insignificant...whether or not we are causing any "global warming", if we all started living in caves today there's no proof anything would actually be accomplished.

MMGW is NOT a scam. Simple fact: CO2 traps heat. Another simple fact: we generate a lot of CO2. What's disputable is the fatalistic scenario(s) presented to convince us to adopt radical reform measures. Climate science is not understood enough to predict outcomes and determine our involvement and what steps we NEED to take to prevent a fatal scenario from occurring, if indeed one could occur on account of our actions.
