The exoskeleton is crushed there by deforming and changing it's cavity volume forcing the innards to expel.
This should be cleaned up immediately because the acid content will cause a stain on the sidewalk that you will see every time you walk by and cause you to become overcome with grief for the fallen insect.
ORRRR you could just sweep it into the lawn. Bug carcasses make excellent fertilizer.
