"If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; ..." Duteronomy 22:23,24

So, basically, if a woman is raped she should be stoned to death for not yelling loud enough.
THIS is your concept of God?

A fine example of christian religious "tolerance".

I like the fact that after Moses comes down from the mountain with the ten commandments the very next thing he does is tell his people to strap on their swords and go slaughter 5000 people that were not following the ten commandments. As if these 5000 people even knew that they existed.

What happened to thou shalt not kill?

A god that evil could only be the god of Christians.

It is said that the word "die" in the bible refers to "sin".

In the first verse, the woman and man are together (by choice)
They have both sinned. they are both sinners. They have "died" to innocence.

In Duteronomy 22: verse 25.......
But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man
"Forced" her, and lie with her: then the man ONLY that lie with her shall "die". (meaning he has sinned), not her.

(sometimes bible verses are taken too literally), and need clarification. The way of talking then, is not how we talk now.

Despite your twisted ignorant interpretation of an isolated bible verse, God loves you so much he allowed you to come into the world through a woman.

God gave mankind free will, men choose to make bad use of that free will against women.

Poindexter Ali,you do know the mushlums still stone women for adultry, do you not. And honor killings as well. Thank you for your completely moronic contribution. You are dismissed!

The Bible is a book of parables (stories with a lesson), and is not meant to be taken that literally. This passage simply means that adultry is wrong, and that both parties are equally as guilty as the other.

Funny how if someone criticizes the Koran, the left are the first to defend Islam. Why is that.

Have you read the ENTIRE Bible, or do you only read some parts and interpret it your own way? Have you read what the Koran says about women? Will you be questioning that too?

God seems to like me just fine....he woke me up this morning.

(and the scripture you cited deals with adultery, not rape.)
