I am visiting Dallas, TX and I am from Virginia. I lost my ID while here and you have to have an ID to get on an airplane. What can I do now? (Remember, Texans think they are their own country so I have tried calling their DMV (they dont call it that) and got no help!)

I can't understand why it seems so important in the US that the politicians talk about their faith, and why congressmen and women have to swear an oath on the Bible when they begin their mandate.
And the statement on every dollar bill "In God we trust"....I don't think that all US citizen believe that there is a God somewhere out there. Can't you have a religion that doesn't believe in a God (Buddhism, Taoism, Animism, ...), or can't you be an atheist or an agnostic and at the same time a US citizen?

In my opinion, religion is a personal thing, and the state should stay completely out of it.

A family making $45k will pay ~$1600 more.
A family making $60k will pay ~$2100 more.

And as far as I can tell, these amounts do not adjust for the child credit. So if you have children, prepare for an added increase.

I'm 51 and I've been hearing this my whole life. And guess what, it's never happened. You always seem to hear this just before an election from the democrats.

Those of you who vote democrat. Those of you who spew hate for America and President Bush, in my 51 years, your kind has been on the wrong side of everything. Right now your progaganda wing (media) still has some influence to lead the American people down the wrong road. But it won't always be that way. Your days are numbered. Right thinking people will only take so much.

Question Details: John Edwards, who yesterday demanded Democratic candidates return any campaign donations from Rupert Murdoch and News Corp., himself earned at least $800,000 for a book published by one of the media mogul's companies. The Edwards campaign said the multimillionaire trial lawyer would not return the hefty payout from Murdoch for the book titled "Home: The Blueprints of Our Lives." The campaign didn't respond to a question from The Post about whether it was hypocritical for Edwards to take money from News Corp. while calling for other candidates not to. In addition to a $500,000 advance from HarperCollins, which is owned by News Corp., Edwards also was cut a check for $300,000 for expenses. She is not a progressive, she is a wealthy elite running on status and backed by corporate donors and sponsors. She will not change America, it will only be more of the same. She is not the candidate the Democrats should put forward.

No, I'm not a Republican, nor a conservative. I am fearful that she will take the nomination and ensure a Republican victory in '08. She, like Bush, is a divider, not a uniter.

to go to Yahoo! Finance, look up the stock information on the biggest corporations, look up institutional ownership and discover that it is in the 50%-80% range for most of the "big corporations?" In other words, do they fail to realize that there's no "THEM" - - - - that "THEY" are "US" - that the "big corporations" are the "little people" themselves?

(Or do they just not realize that "institution" means your pension, the mutual funds held in your 401-K, etc..... )?

And are they forgetting how these companies got their money? I.e., through exchange in which consumers - i.e., those same "little guys," GIVE them THEIR money in EXCHANGE for some good or service that they WANT?

Ok, this is going to sound crazy, but yes, it is my life. The last time my boyfriend and I went to pick up his son, his ex went crazy, she started saying ALL kinds of crap, referring to my bra size and everything. She then proceeded to lift her shirt and bra and flashed us both. We called the cops to make a report because she would not let us take his son. I don't know if this was written in the report or not. If not, can I have someone write it in? Can she be punished for this? Much like a man that whips out his penis in public? Thanks...
