I got flagged for asking this question by some liberal, could someone please explain to me what Yahoo violation I broke?
Deleted Question: John Edwards what a joke just another Liberal Hypocrite.?
Question Details: John Edwards, who yesterday demanded Democratic candidates return any campaign donations from Rupert Murdoch and News Corp., himself earned at least $800,000 for a book published by one of the media mogul's companies. The Edwards campaign said the multimillionaire trial lawyer would not return the hefty payout from Murdoch for the book titled "Home: The Blueprints of Our Lives." The campaign didn't respond to a question from The Post about whether it was hypocritical for Edwards to take money from News Corp. while calling for other candidates not to. In addition to a $500,000 advance from HarperCollins, which is owned by News Corp., Edwards also was cut a check for $300,000 for expenses. Edwards claimed $333,334 in royalties from last year's release of the book, according to media accounts. The campaign said last night that those funds were part of the advance. He says he gave that amount to charity, which would also provide tax benefits for Edwards. "We're more than happy to give even more of Murdoch's money to Habitat for Humanity and other good causes," spokesman Eric Schultz told The Post yesterday. He declined to show proof, however, that Edwards had donated the $500,000 advance or $300,000 expense checks to charity. Meanwhile, Edwards yesterday attacked Hillary Rodham Clinton for taking more than $20,000 in donations from News Corp. officials, arguing that the company's Fox News Channel is tilted to the right. News Corp. also owns The New York Post. Clinton declined to respond. The Edwards campaign said it would return less than $1,000 in donations from three Fox employees. Languishing in the polls behind Clinton and Barack Obama, Edwards also has led the Democratic field's boycott of a Fox co-sponsored presidential debate.

Hi son, Democrat here, but one who isn't politically bigoted and LOVES free speech. There's a lot of us out here.
Email me if you want details.
They got you on, "It's not a question".
There are a group of words I call "question words". I teach my third grade class the same thing (not a commentary on you, just my job). Feel free to pass this on to other people whom you notice have the same problem:
Open Question Words: who, what, when, how, why, where;
Closed Question Words: (there are many not listed here) is, was, are, can, could, should, would, shall, will, may.
Open question words can only be answered with things other than, "Yes," or "No".
Closed questions are answered with, "Yes," or "No".
If you don't have one at the front of the question, it probably isn't a question even if you add a question mark at the end. Example: "I disagree?"
Not really a question. It's a statement with a question mark tacked to the end.
They might also have gotten you on the name-calling ("liberal hypocrite"). Change it to: Is John Edwards serious? Are his actions an example of liberal hypocrisy?
Better, to avoid the political bigotry inherent in the question, ask, "This appears to be hypocrisy. Could someone help me understand how it is not, particular some of our liberal Americans. Thanks for the help."
How can someone complain about that?
Good luck no matter how you post it. Remember that Yahoo! Answers does not owe ANY of us a "soapbox" and could boot us all off at will if chose without violating free speech at all. Free speech doesn't mean we have the right to use anyone else's soapbox, ever. Just that we have the right to say what we wish. This is Yahoo's soapbox, their forum. Their choice, especially as it is free.

I've occasionally listened to liberal radio. I am not sure they all fight with each other like you say, I find they make fun of others and joke around a lot, and then occasionally make a comment or two, but then never back it up. Both sides make fun of each other. Conservative radio merely has to play sound bites of liberals. Just listening to liberals talk is comical because they contradict themselves all the time. Most conservative radio programs play lots and lots of liberal sound bites. They speak for themselves. You won't hear nearly as many sound bites on the liberal radio programs. You'll just hear them constantly spouting their opinion.

First, you have no way of knowing the political leanings or affiliations of the person or people who reported you.
Second, it wasn't a question, but a rant.
Read the Guidelines (link, bottom of page). They clearly say that, when you ask a question, it needs to be a question, not a rant.
If you want to make a statement, then find a question to which your statement is an answer, and submit it there.
I report non-questions, regardless of which side they come from, though, for the record, I did NOT report yours, as I hadn't seen it.

I got reported for answering a question praising Ron Paul to the skies by saying:
RON PAUL=DENNIS KUCINICH.
That was it. The flagging is done automatically. Nobody personally reviews any of this to see that it is done within community guidelines.
Nice question, though! It reveals that Edwards is not too bright. He did not know that Harper-Collins is a division of News Corp. Duh!
That man is an empty suit with nice hair. He is the punchline to every dumb-blonde joke.

it could have been as simple a reason as your throwing the word "liberal" into the question and adding the word "hypocrite" in right after... as if to imply that all liberals are hypocrites.
Just a thought though. I can't truly answer for what anybody does... except me.

After having numerous questions and answers deleted, I have come to the conclusion that nobody but the reporter decides to delete or not - its automatic once the "report abuse" button is clicked.
