Whats the matter, the truth hurts concerning Clinton? No matter what you want to say about this adm. nothing took place in the White House that did during the Clinton years!! It wasn't just all the sex and more and more of that keeps comming out, or the insanity of Hillary but it's all the corruption that got covered up! It was all the 'misfortunes' so many who worked under him that seem to fall on! Trades with other countries that sold our country out! And how many times was Americans hit by terrorists?! All of this and yet not a peep from the press about any of it. Bush hasn't done anything illegal or Congress would have been up on it with all their thousands of investigations! So I don't think you will go anywhere with it!

And that helps you out how?
You need to eventually be able to turn the page. Who really takes the Monica Lewinsky scandal seriously now, especially given the amount of sexual indiscretions that have come out of the then Republican led congress of the early 2000s? Holding up Bush's foibles while tempting will blow up in your face, should a future Democratic leader make similar mistakes in the future. That kind of hypocritical behavior puts political leaders in a bad spot and should not be sought out.

Ok, so along with the same thinking of your question. Should we the public, regardless of our party affiliation, hold all your errors in judgment against you forever, or 20 years?
How come the Democrats even allow a Kennedy into any type of position, state or otherwise after Chappaquiddick and the death of his girlfriend, why not bar them for any type of political involvement?
And shall I go on? At some point, the past has to remain in the past, and you have to move forward, otherwise you become a country filled with hatred and that in itself is not good for anyone.

LOL!!! Which one time affair?
Clinton's affair isn't being held over his head, but his lying under oath is...and the only reason why they do that is because he used his own personal philosophy to "allow" homosexuals in the military- Don't ask, don't tell...(although that doesn't really keep his campaign promise, but then, it is all in how you look at it).
The real fire should be over the politicians in Congress who have not properly learned the lessons of Vietnam...Congress has no business in directing a war. Either they fund it or they dont- that is their role as stated by the Constitution they swore to uphold.
...but then they could be like Clinton and lie under oath too...

I think the fact that the Republicans have kept us from further attack by Al Qaeda despite counter efforts by the Democrats should be held over the Republicans heads for at least 100 yrs.

Please do....and when it becomes apparent that the moves this administration took to place democracy within the middle east finally relived the tension there; we will hail Bush as we do Reagan as a great president willing to look beyond popular opinion and act based on right and wrong.
You will be too busy bashing the Gulliani administration to have time to bring up Bush!

Bush is the kind of leader who ends empires. Its been a good run, the US did a lot of good things. Its over. It could have lasted hundreds or maybe even thousands of years, but with Bush's trillion + dollar debt to a country that thinks nothing of sending us poisoned pet food, baby food, and candy, it really is all over.

Clinton had morew than one actually, just because he settled out of court doesnt mean it went away. But we can hold over the dems the evidence they gave to Bush (whitch turned out to be false) about Iraqs WMDs. Or should we remind them of Clintons bombing of an asprin factory in Africa.

I'm a Dem. didn't vote for him, don't approve of many of his policies, but I believe he believes he's doing what's best for our country. Once he's out of office he'll probably be highly regarded. But, for now he's our president, and I support him.
No matter what I may think of his actions, or mental capacity.

no, bush isn't an excuse commit further wrong doing
some people might think clinton is an acceptable excuse for whatever bush might be doing, but I think this is childish and not sound reasoning
