I keep seeing the "radical lefts" mantra that "Bush Lied" about the war. If he did lie then how is it that Hillary didn't lie? She said all of the same things, she voted for the war, she had access to the exact same reports Bush did. So left wing anti Bush Haters - did Hillary lie too?

Reasons:
1. Illegal wire taping
2. illegal detainment of US citizens without proper and timely due process.
3. lying for the lead up to the war.

I am sure that we can think of many other things, but the reasons listed are my concerns.

The MOVEMENTS TO IMPEACH SEEM TO FALL SHORT OF GOALS:
1. Dennis Kucinnich introduced articles and it was ignored.
2. John Conyors, Barbara Boxer, Republican Chuck Hagel explored these issues publically.
3. Seven states considered resolutions and Vermont passed a resolution but all have fallen short of gaining serious national attention.

Zogby poll says that 53% of Americans will support impeachment. (This includes dems and conservs).

Now that it is election time Bush's own party has parted ways with him b/c he hasn't given them a good record to run on!

(( This president seems to be above the law and above criticism!))

QUESTION TO YOU??
When are we going to be about the business of doing this and stop giving this lip service???

Here's my dilemma: I feel that I have some type of anxiety brought on by claustrophobia (I have never been officially diagnosed with anxiety, but I know I am claustrophobic). I also feel like I have a general anxiety about many things in life and I would love to sort this all out and get to the root of my problem with a psychologist but I am afraid to do so because I hope to work in intelligence/counterterrorism in the next few years after finishing my master's degree and am worried that a record of seeking help for mental health will adversely affect my chance of being granted a security clearance. If I do go to a doctor and it is determined that I do not have an anxiety disorder, does even just the fact that I sought help make me automatically ineligible for clearance or are things looked at on a case by case basis?

joe Liberman is again standing as the lone democrate that is not bowing to pressure to defeat this proposal...the dems are for the most part against this law. harry reid and nancy polosie are afraid this will be racial profiling running amuck.
we are told to report all suspicious activities to authorities. This is especially important in our post 9/11 era. this amendment would protect those who report them.
MINNEAPOLIS – Six Muslim men removed from a plane last fall after being accused of suspicious behavior are suing the airline and threatening to sue the passengers who complained – a move some fear could discourage travelers from speaking up when they see something unusual. In reaction to the imams' lawsuit, Congress has taken steps to legally protect passengers who report suspicious activity. Earlier this week, the House approved an amendment to a rail transportation security bill that would make passengers immune from such lawsuits, but now its hung in committe.call your senators

I don't understand why George Bush is President when almost everyone seems to slate him! Can anyone explain why as surely the majority of people in the USA must have voted him in? If i'm wrong let me know (but explain why!).

Doesn't he listen to his daily Intelligence reports? If he did, he would know Al Qaeda make up only 1-2% of the total combatants we are fighting against in Iraq.
(Nevermind, if he had been listening to the reports from the start we wouldn't be there anyway...)
It seems to me that the President is fearmongering and trying to tie a link between the war and Iraq (AGAIN) in order to justify himself and fire back against critics.
Little does he know, the good American people already know the link he is trying to tie is false, because pre-war reports showed that Saddam strictly would not let Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups into his country when he was in power.

So, knowing what you know, what are your thoughts on our president's repetition of Al Qaeda in Iraq?
