I don't worship her. I often feel that she lacks tact and her approach leads many to discredit what she is saying. She is an outspoken Conservative who often is willing to throw herself out there and say what many of us are thinking. I don't always agree and I don't always approve, but I do not allow a few instances to define an individual. When you speak in generalizations as you did in your question, you open the door for people to discredit your intentions as well. I use a broader perspective to determine my opinion of people.

I am a conservative. I do not worship her. She is a writer, and her books always go to the top of the best selling lists. She can say whatever she wants. I think she learned that from dealing with left wing liberal loonies.

Why? My guess is because they thrive on hate and bitterness. They like hearing someone call liberals the enemy and feed their hatred for those with opposite beliefs.
