Reasons:
1. Illegal wire taping
2. illegal detainment of US citizens without proper and timely due process.
3. lying for the lead up to the war.

I am sure that we can think of many other things, but the reasons listed are my concerns.

The MOVEMENTS TO IMPEACH SEEM TO FALL SHORT OF GOALS:
1. Dennis Kucinnich introduced articles and it was ignored.
2. John Conyors, Barbara Boxer, Republican Chuck Hagel explored these issues publically.
3. Seven states considered resolutions and Vermont passed a resolution but all have fallen short of gaining serious national attention.

Zogby poll says that 53% of Americans will support impeachment. (This includes dems and conservs).

Now that it is election time Bush's own party has parted ways with him b/c he hasn't given them a good record to run on!

(( This president seems to be above the law and above criticism!))

QUESTION TO YOU??
When are we going to be about the business of doing this and stop giving this lip service???

Lets look at the facts!

George Bush is a war criminal who deserves to be impeached, and should be!

The Senate can vote to impeach him and draw up the impeachment document and pass it no problem!

The issue becomes that he has to be tried in the Congress and the reality is they do not have the 2/3 votes necessary to impeach him! Until that day nothing is going to happen.

No president has been impeached including Clinton. He was tried before Congress and they failed to get the 2/3 majority to impeach him, though people like to say he was. Really, he never was!

I am holding out for his war criminal trial because no Democrat had better pardon Bush!

I'm with you, he definitely needs to be punished for his actions one way or another. But I think at this point he should just serve out his term because by the time he would be impeached his term would almost be over. Also, it would be a distraction to the country. I feel in danger every day this man is in charge. His fixation with Iraq (be it for revenge for his father, oil, I don't even know if he knows) has us in grave danger considering those who actually DID attack us are apparently plotting to do so again. Would have been nice if he went after them the first time. Seems he doesn't want to now either. But again, impeachment would be a big distraction and no one would be in charge, not that him being "in charge" is much better :/

Illegal wire tapping as you put it stopped the attack on the airport.
Illegal detainment..anywhere in the us you can be detained in a investigation.
Lying about the war...once again he did what he had to do..sell the ppl on taking the fight to them instead of fighting them here....you forget 9/11...guess you didn't loose any one there did you? We the ppl of The great and almighty USofA have fallen to the bias Media.....want to take a free tour of Afghanistan or Iraq and see what the media don't show you...Join the military or shut the f up...its easy for you to be an arm chair soldier...matter of a fact you want to see it first hand I give you a personal tour...I bet you don't even vote do you?

LOL; you guys are too funny. The problem with your "reasons" is that you have to impeach two thirds of the congress (both house and senate) for the 3rd one, and the intelligence committees for the 1st two. Good luck with that...
