Of course but liberals want have a double standard. Our intelligence agencies as well as others around the world determined there was a threat- crap happens. Hindsight is 20/20 and just because the libs changed their minds due to polling, doesnt mean anyone was lying about anything. People can disagree without getting into all this nasty partisanship and hypocricy

Bush didn't lie. But no one seems to notice or care how long it took Hillary to finally jump on the "He Lied" bandwagon. She played it smart and kept her big mouth shut until America had been fed so many lies (mostly by the dem.s) that they completely forgot the truth. And only then did she know it was safe to disown what she'd done. Truth is, Carter created this mess way back when, when he gutted the CIA. Trouble is, not only did no one care, but none of the other presidents after him fix his blunder. Did Hillary lie? Yes. Did Bush lie? No. He went on the only intel available at the time. And that one "credible" source -- a chemical engineer from Iraq, now admits he lied. Trouble is, our CIA was never allowed to question him directly, only by proxy. And, he's still living large in Germany. On our dime. Funny how the dem.s are too stupid to point this out. But, even Hillary knows, the people are like sheep. Feed them a line of crap long enough and they'll begin to bleat it.

You know, its funny. Lots of Dems/Libs scream about Bush misleading them.
But if you check out the attached link, you'll see that the Dems/Libs were saying that Saddam and Iraq were a threat LONG before President Bush was on the scene in 2001.
How do the Dems/Libs explain that?
P.S. you'll have to scroll way down to see the quotes by Dems/Libs that happened before 2001 in the first link.

It depends. First Hillary said she did her own research, from her own sources and came up with the same if not more dire situation in Iraq. Bill Clinton spoke of this many times also.
But now she says she did no research, and didn't even Read the info from the Russians, French, British, or the CIA, let alone her own sources.
So, who knows what she will say next.
It is funny to watch her though.

I think it is fair to say at least that Hillary was swept up with the war hysteria along with a lot of other people. And she should at least have known that there was no great urgency about going to war, at least not if supposed weapons of mass destruction was our excuse for doing so. So to that extent, yes she lied too.

Neither Bush nor Hillary lied about the war in Iraq. Cheney did.
Cheney had Scooter Libby write Collin Powell's speech that he gave to the UN where he cited proof that Iraq had WMD. The proof came from German Intelligence and they didn't confirm it, later we found out that it came out under torture.
Did Saddam Hussein have WMD? Yes, he wanted everyone to think he had so they would think twice about attacking him. He had a chemical program, we saw it used on the Kurds, and a step to more dangerous programs is a small one. Also once you have a good chemical program then it is easier to build a biological program. Saddam Hussein did have a program to build WMD, but it was a hollow one and of no threat to the US.

Bush started by lying from the begining to Congress including Hillary Clinton, the only faulty intelligence has always been between George W. Bush's ears and even that's giving him too much credit!

Yes, she screwed up there. She'd be better off right now to come out and admit that she was wrong. What she needs to do is say she understands at first why they all went in, but now realizes is it time to pull out and present an action plan for the pullout. Hopefully she'll do it this way, I hate it when they point fingers to others and try to "skirt" around the issue.

Dude... If Bush lied then so did 90% of Americans. Remember, we were all for the war at one time. It's the cowardly ones with their tails between their legs that say Bush lied.

Bush deliberately mislead congress. Ms. Clinton, and the rest of congress, was lead to believe what Bush was saying was the truth. Congress, just like now, did not have access to the intelligence that Bush said existed. Just like now.......
