Bill Clinton Backs Wife's Withdrawal Plan Demand
Share July 21, 2007 7:54 PM

ABC News' Kate Snow reports: Traveling in Africa on Saturday, former President Bill Clinton fired a shot at the Pentagon. Clinton said Undersecretary Eric Edelman was "wrong" to send a letter to his wife, Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., criticizing her request for a briefing from Pentagon officials about military plans for a future withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.

In a letter to Sen. Clinton, Edelman wrote, "Premature and public discussion of the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq reinforces enemy propaganda that the United States will abandon its allies."

"I think it's wrong to politicize national security," he said.

These two border guards, Ramos and Campeon, were only doing their job well when they shot a Mexican drug smuggler. They were over-prosecuted by a George Bush appointee US Attorney. Now these brave men rot in federal prison while that scumball Scooter Libby gets a get out of jail free card. Ramos and Campeon should receive full pardons, be reinstated, and receive back pay for all the time they suffered wrongful prosecution. They should be reimbursed for attorney's fees too. George W. Bush is undoubtedly the worst President in the last 150 years. Yes, he is worse than Nixon and Harding. I'm proud to be a Democrat.

It would be heavenly. That way, you could live in the part of the country that fit your political leanings. I predict if that happened that the south would have the lowest taxes, lowest crime rate, highest standard of living, and the libs would be pounding on the door to get in after a year or two. But, like the song says, "keep a knockin' but you can't come in.!"{

why don't public schools teach that abraham lincoln freed the slaves and that he was republican? all congresses during his presidency were also republican. back in the civil rights movement days, the south was democrat controlled as well. the democrats did however promise to give blacks and minorities welfare, but only to keep them dependent on the government as quasi-slaves who would vote for government dependence whenever a bill is brought up in Congress. they still try to make them always feel like the victim with the help of fear mongering. I bet democrats hate seeing a rich black person driving a BMW, owning is own business, and being independent of government.

My hub had power of atty over financial matters relating to bro's house. Bro was in prison and he had some bad tenants living in the house who didn't always pay rent, which was supposed to cover mortgage. Also, we found out that bro had a lien put on the house as "bond" for fellow prisoner so that now debt agains the house was in excess of value of house. Eventually, payments fell behind (hub and I made mortgage payments for a while when tenants paid -- and sometimes when they didn't), but eventually it became too expensive to stay "caught up" and the bank was really unforgiving. Hub decided best policy was to foreclose on home and be released from the liability. Amazingly, the house sold at foreclosure for slightly more than debt (Bondsman releasd part of lien) and the proceeds were returned to brother. Now, bro wants to sue bank for foreclosing, and also sue hub for breach of fiduciary respoinsiblity because we didn't keep paying the mortgage for him.

to a member of the U.S. House on the Homeland Security Committee, DeFazio?
What are they hiding?
As a member of the U.S. House on the Homeland Security Committee, DeFazio, D-Ore., is permitted to enter a secure "bubbleroom" in the Capitol and examine classified material. So he asked the White House to see the secret documents.
On Wednesday, DeFazio got his answer: DENIED
Homeland Security Committee staffers told his office that the White House initially approved his request, but it was later quashed. DeFazio doesn't know who did it or why.

"We're talking about the continuity of the government of the United States of America," DeFazio says. "I would think that would be relevant to any member of Congress, let alone a member of the Homeland Security Committee."

Granted not all Christians support or voted for Bush. However, many voted for him and still support him. It's a well known fact that the one of the big reasons he got elected was because of their support. And it's also well known that Bush is a failure as a President.
So the question becomes : is this enough to conclude that America shouldn't listen to the Christian authorties when they start talking about who "God's candidate" is ?
