Can you please look at some of the questions on this board, questions such as "How Can I Mess With My Mexican Neighbor" and then the answers. You cannot say it's not about race.

Can you look at the questions to find the true answer??

Everything is about race in this country. Everyone inside is racist. We need all these old generations and their crappy values to die off.

You are right. Many people have the wrong approach.

Here are the FACTS about illegal immigration.

True, 40% of our illegals are Mexican. There is no other place in the world where someone so rich lives next to someone so poor. The other 60% come from everywhere else. Canada, Poland, Philippines, Ireland, China and others have a large illegal population here.

Fifty percent of our illegals entered without inspection from Mexico. The other 50% came in with good documents, lied about their intentions, and never went home.

It is easy for some to paint an entire group with the same brush, the the FACT remains that illegal immigration includes all races and is a much bigger problem than most people want to deal with. That is why the Congress has avoided the subject for so long.

No matter which side of the fence you are on, half of the people are with you and half of the people are against you.

Thanks for listening, and let's look at this problem for what it is. It transcends race and nationality.

There might be racism on both sides, especially on this board. But I think the majority of Americans and Mexicans are not racist towards each other, especially in California.

To U.S. Citizens First, those extremist sites like Voz De Aztlan do not represent most Mexicans. It's as silly as saying all white Americans are racist which I don't think is the case.

It's not bout race; Hispanics are not a race. To be completely technical about it there is only one race of human beings. The term has been subverted to mean differeences in skin color so we have a "race" of black people and a "race" of asians.

Hispanic is not a "race" by anyone's definition except the people who gain from making it a racial issue.

I don't care who it is coming over the border illegally. Black, white, brown, yellow, green with chartreuse polka dots - they are all criminals, by definition, the minute they enter this country illegally.

Period.

Not everyone is like the one who asked that question. Personally I think it is just a troll. But you have to look at both sides. When they throw the race card it is just a ploy to get people mad and to try to shut up the opposition. Illegal immigration is the problem and it is a matter of laws being broken. It does not matter what race or nationality they are.

I checked the question you refered to, I guess you didn't want to admit to the treatment he received from his neighbor.
When I first came on this board I was Anti-Illegal, no matter the race.
In all my answers I differentiated between legal -immigrants and illegals. It didn't matter, I was labeled racist by Mexicans, legal and illegal.
After seeing the threats, feeling the hatred, and going to their sites such as Voz de Aztlan and such I have learned enough to change my views.
The hatred, outright threats, and desire to destabilize my country have convinced me.....Illegal criminal aliens are secondary to the Mexican problem; your hatred has convinced me. I no longer state that I am not a racist, now I state that every race has a right to life and legal immigration, except Mexicans.
I am still ok with Americans who have their ethnic roots in Mexico. I just hate anyone whose first loyalty is to Mexico or to the Mexican race.

There are racists against it as well, but the case against illegal immigration of the scope we have been getting is overwhelming, without recourse to racism.

The vast majority of Americans are against us, and if we are racist, name a country that isn't. We have historically had the most welcoming society to immigration anywhere. Why do you think that is changing?

Sure, it is for some. For some it is about flying saucers.

Fortunately the crazies and the hateful don't decide policy, anymore that having hundreds of Hispanic people calling everyone racist doesn't mean it is racist for most people any more than this post or that post does.

True answer? There are lot's of reasons, racism is one for some people. Let's not be silly about this.

For some people, it may very well be about race. For the majority of us who are against illegal immigration, it's about upholding the rule of law in this country. Far too many people use racism as a lame excuse for supporting illegal immigration.
