fighting for custody, with no lawyer!! What's the law on age that children can decide what parent they want to live with? Anyplace I can find exact number. I only found family code 'children must be of reasonable age to form an intelligent decision' or something like that. My kids are 15 & 16- we live in California.

I've seen many posts that reflect the ideology that if it's legal , then it's ok . And I'm wondering how you define your standards of behavior.. . . . . . . Anything is ok as long as it's legal ? .. . or . . . .. . . . Are your standards higher than the law ?

I consider myself liberal, for the most part, however there are some issues in which liberals REALLY piss me off (affirmative action). And some issues I think conservatives have the right idea (liberalism for example, not to be confused with being a liberal). I used to call myself a liberal, but am wary to do so now. BUT I would never call myself conservative. Does this make me simply an Independent? Again, a label. Does anyone else feel mixed in their views? You must share.

It's bad enough we have adults that don't understand the concepts behind global warming or other political issues, now we have actual children being fed propaganda and being used as a tool to speak out on specific issues.

What's next? Infants with political bumper stickers on them?
Vote Mitt Romney in 08 because baby Jessica said so.

Frankly, anyone who can't name a supreme court justice shouldn't have the right to vote. You need to know what the (expletive deleted) you are voting for.

Children shouldn't be propagandized with religious or political indoctrination. Let them choose what they want to be as adults.
Children should be completely unconcerned with the political world, and they should be concerned with making friends and having fun. Let the adults solve adult problems.

Next: Pro-gun groups use child to advocate guns; Anti-gun group uses child to advocate more gun restrictions.

What's your opinion?

Or is it just common sense to do so? I ask because we came across 2 horses that had just walked across an A road from the land on the other side of the road and a couple I asked about it didn't seem to think was anything out of the ordinary!

Simple question will i be held responsible? Two days ago my work van was invoved in an accident. I did not give anyone permission to drive, because there was no insurance on the van. It was parked at my workers' house until I could get it insured again. The worker willingly and knowingly of this info. lets another friend of his drive the van to take some chick home and he claims the van shot off after he put it in gear (with a billy club on the van) and was unable to stop. The van drove stright into a building and on top of another car. The police knows who the driver is and served him citations. My question is, "She he (the driver) have to pay or should I (the owner of the van) have to pay? I feel he should because no one had permission. (its like who's to blame for someone getting shot.......the owner of the gun or the person who shot the gun?) PLEASE OFFER SOME TYPE OF ASSISTANCE!!!!!!!

They struck at the financial heart of America and its planning and procurement offices .
When you think crazy do you think about people who would target specific high value targets or do you think people who would crash into a navy ship or a barracks .
Seems like they are fighting a war and not just a group of radicals who would show up with machine guns at schools eliminating hundreds of students without much resistance .

That would have been cheaper and an actual attack on civilians .

Have we lost cite of the truth .
That 9-11 was a military attack and not the work of radicals .

The end to ww2 which we won was achieved with over a million civilian casualties and nearly as many deaths .
Seems the one sure way to win a war is to inflict a heavy toll on the people who are supporting the soldiers .
I see no problem in bombing a farm that sells food to soldiers or a lumber yard that supplies building materials or a bank that holds their deposits .
When we make a war about attrition then you have to consider the civilians as the support for the military and thus they are enemy combatants and should be destroyed to bring a swift end to a war .

Isn't this Episcopal minister and former U.S. Senator, who calls them "early stage stem cells" just another liar who won't face the facts about destroying human life at conception? The private lab that almost fully funded the push for an amendment to Missouri's Constitution for this purpose now realizes how many Missourians oppose taxation for this doubtful research on moral grounds and is going out of state for more money.
