i think they're insane. why would any reason in hell would our own government do such a thing? so they can have a reason to attack iraq and afghanistan and make a huge profit? i dont get it

Crazier things have happened, and escaped notice because they happened in other parts of the world. But it is insane to think that the U.S. government planned the 9/11 attacks. It is possible that the shadow government had prior knowledge but couldn't stop it from happening. The malor oil companies in America have been in bed with the Saudi's for over 70 years, and the Texas oil boys have benefitted for every major development in the evolution of today's world energy complex. You can't ignore the fact that all of the 9/11 hijackers came into the country from Saudi Arabia, and hundreds of Saudi citizens were flown out in the days after 9/11 when average Americans were prohibited from even approaching a major airport. The whole story will never be made public. Also, the main focus of any investigation of an airline accident is the recovery of the "black boxes" the data recorders and cockpit communication records. But no one ever mentions what happened to the black boxes from the 9/11 aircraft.

All true:

first Bush/Cheney came up with that incredible plan to kill thousands of Americans. Under the cover of darkness, Bush snuck past the security guards at the WTC and planted the explosives in the basement, the Secret Service distracted our military long enough for Cheney to fire a missile into the Pentagon.

Rumsfeld and Rice flew their f-16s intercepted the jets, hid them from radar, and jammed all their radios and landed them in a secret facility underground, where condaleza executed them.

Then Cheney still had time to fire the slow moving hologram missiles shaped like airplanes in to the the towers from his super secret missile launcher in castle gray skull.
They kept it all 100% secret, and the whole of the FBI, CIA, NYPD, TSA, the air force, everyone with a government pay check, the janitors at the WTC...everyone was in on it. Scary right.

It was all so simple, only the most incradable, elaberate, and flawlessly executed and covered up plan ever...ever. And as we all know, the government can do anything you imagine, because they are so smart and never make mistakes. In real life they are all just like Jason Borne.

Then they went to the amusement park to try to scare everyone away by making them think it was haunted, so they could steal the oil from the ferris wheel....they would have gotten away with that one too, if it wasn't for those darn kids (and the Harlem globe trotters)

The argument from their perspective is that it provided an excuse for our govt to enact draconian laws and to rally the American people behind activity that the population would never have supported otherwise.

It's like the accusations that our govt knew about the Pearl Harbor bombings in advance, and left a large number of older ships there (while coincidentally deploying to sea anything less than 10 years old) just to galvanize the American people into supporting US involvement in WW2.

There is no strong evidence I've seen supporting either claims, but neither can they be disproven given the available evidence. That's why it's a conspiracy THEORY. It has yet to be proven either way.

Considering how dishonest and secrative the Bush adminsitration is - I can't blame them. Its a stretch to think September Eleventh, Two Thousand and One happened just by accident or sheer incompetance. I do think some malfeasance may have occured. It sure played into Bush's hands, didn't it? We KNOW the administration can NOT be trusted.

The independent report just came out a couple weeks ago that shows that 9/11 was not an inside job, that jet fuel is what caused the Twin Towers to fall.

President Bush, or any other president, does not need to manufacture a reason to go to war. As the President, he has the intelligence (reports) to know what's going on and to authorize whatever needs to be done without going to Congress. That is what the Executive Order is all about.

Furthermore, we don't hire Presidents to tell us the truth. If our leaders told US the truth, they would also be telling our ENEMIES the truth. We hire our leaders to make these decisions for us so we don't have to be bothered with it, and more importantly, we hire them to lie and keep our enemies at bay. If they have to lie to our enemies and spread disinformation, they automatically have to do the same to us. It's not like Iranian President dude doesn't watch CNN to find out what's going on in America.

I think theyb did, the gov't has done a lot of things even we dont know about. Besides if it is an inside job no one totally knows all the details about WHY they did it. The American gov't is very corrupt. Isnt that obvioius? I dont put anyting past them.

In order to pull something like this off, you would need all the law enforcement agencies to be in on it. This would mean the FBI, CIA, NSA, DIA, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and several others would all have to be in on it, everyone that I have talked to said that this is very unlikely. There are always plenty of BS stories before an election, the Democrats seem to be behind most of it
