I doubt that anyone would care if he met with any of us for 5 hours but we might say that I met with him all day. If he did announce it he would probably say MOST of the day.

It depends on how many hours a day he works. I believe he doesn't work all day, let alone all week. And 300 minutes tells me it's only half a day.
