they don't have a social security number, so how would you file taxes? do they use an itin?

If you think they all file taxes or even the majority of them, you're delusional. And as for paying taxes, yeah they're going to take taxes out of your check regardless. My illegal boyfriend lies and claims so many dependants they hardly take anything out. And I know MANY who do the same thing.

Yes they do their taxes...gasp!!!
Like you said they use an ITIN, it's the only way they can file taxes. Unlike popular belief... they do file their taxes.
Many of the people here say they are a burden to taxpayers but they pay taxes as well.
When??? Sales Tax... ever heard of that one?
How about the fact that when they do their taxes, they don't recieve as much back as they should because the gov. keeps a certain amount as "penalty"

A few of them file taxes. The social security administration will issue then a TIN, temporary identification number, that allows them to file taxes. Many of them were doing in it because it is a good way to prove to them that they were working here in the U.S. and they thought that there was going to be an amnesty bill.

In someone else name an SS# if they do.The employer knows there illegal with holds the Taxs know they won't file so in the pocket it goes.Some pay the taxs an there not claimed so there in a holding fund.They can't file or complain as if they get caught there deported.

THEY DO PAY TAXES. They do so through the TIN number. I know this for a fact, as, I do taxes for around 50 every January- April. They are afraid of being deported if they don't, so, they do- faithfully.

They obtain tax Id's and it is the same as our social security cards. They can go anywhere and get their taxes done just as we do.
