I am in the Marine Corps and have a DoD email (@usmc.mil), is there a way to access my account from home? Currently I can only check it at work, but I'm about to take extended leave and need access to my idiots...I mean junior marines.

What if a normal joe ran for president in 2008 or 2012, would you vote for someone that was not previously in politics?

Say the guy was just some businessman that cared about the way things are going and wants to help America become the country we know it can be! Safe, educated, free, and proud of everything their country does.

Why were the charges dropped against John Mark Karr? If they have more evidence, could they bring more charges against him? Sure, the USA has a "double-jeopardy" law but is there a way around it?

We were attacked first! To lose the lives of over 3,000 of our own people and have nothing to show for it would be cowardly. We need to get on the side of our own safety. I think most people would agree with the previous sentence.

So I ask: WHY SHOULDN'T WE BE IN A WAR WITH IRAQ? And if we pull our troops out, what sort of repurcusions could there be, if any?

Please keep your answers somewhat short.

Probably no more than 3 hours.

However, it still makes me uncomfortable.

How about you?

In Washington, Global Horizon was fined 1.9 million dollars for firing 600 employees and then arranging Thai workers to come into the US under H2A program. TO get the Thais to come here, The company stated there is not enough local laborers, and it's why they needed to hire from outside the country.

My opinion is that this shows that Agbusiness does not need illegal immigrants to work in their farms and that if legal immigrants are causing Americans to lose their jobs, the illegals must also. Immigrants are allowed to enter to leverage a lower standard of living for those who are here. It demonstrates that an open border won't work. That immigrants who come in to work would be treated badly, and if they refuse to tolerate the abusive environment, the employer would just dump them and hie a new wave of immigrant

One of my friends got arrested awhile ago for theft at a retail store, so I guess its classified as retail theft. Is that a misdemanor? He was thinking about joining a program at school with me but it says you can't have ANY misdemeanors, so we were wondering what this ment for him. He never served any kind of jail time or anything, just had to pay the store a fine and court fees.

Our country is going through a hard time, witht he war in Iraq, and the national debt.

Its understandable for people to be mad and frustrated.

but have we lost so much respect for Our president that we know look for every flaw in him.

You dont have to like his ideas or opinions, or actions politically.

But people disrespect him as a human being, and absolutely hate him as a hole.

We have to remember to respect our political leaders.

My former boss took it upon herself to call my new boss and say " I wouldn't hire her because of the health issues she has had in the past". Isn't that illegal to try and keep my working for a new employer? My old boss has a vendetta against me, and now she has tried to keep my from gaining new employment. My new boss did not call her. She heard through the grapevine that I was offered a job at a new company. I think this opens up the possibility for a law suit. What grounds do I sue under?

I had asked a question earlier about noisy neighbors squealing their trucks on purpose (see here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AiM8EQW781CPCTqLGy6Jd3Dsy6IX?qid=20070720175553AAfgS7 ). The good thing is, 2 cops cars came and I guess told them to stop, but they literally left less than 5 minutes ago and they continue to do it! I don't mean to sound like a taddler, but it's extremely annoying to listen to. What should I do?

First off, there is a very specific reason that this is in the immigration section. Secondly, I am not against immigration...but there is no longer LOYALTY to the USA, the Constitution or her flag any longer...if there was, then people would stand up for obeying ALL of her laws and not only pick and choose which ones that they want to follow.

You can't have it both ways.

And YES, this is a simple yes or no answer.
