They intentionally want to foment endless civil war so we can eventually build permanent bases in Iraq to further our presence in that region. Its all in the PNAC "Rebuilding Americas Defenses" document.

Remember when the Brits blew up a prison to get their two SAS agents out? The ones that were caught dressed up like Arabs, in a truck full of C-4, firing on Iraqi police? Of course not...that story somehow didn't surface in this land of "free press"

They have to continue to occupy Iraq in order to have a defense for Bush to fall back on to keep his butt from getting impeached among other things. During a time of war the president can do just about anything he wants. Thats how Lincoln did it and wound up declaring martial law, seizing property and freezing assets etc...the supreme court bowed to him and never struck the ruling down until the war was over.

When the war is won and Iraq is stable to carry on alone,,Talk to a few soldiers ,, and they will tell you that leaving now would do more harm than good. Visit any Veterans hospital and talk to the real hero's , they are grateful to have the freedom they fight for so hard. Stop complaining and help out a solider, by thanking them..
No one wants to fight,, but freedom is not free,, never has been

I feel it is already that way. I think their goals are far loftier. There is a bigger picture here. Why are we building a massive embassy. We aren't leaving. They are going to set up camp there.
