From a study obtained by an article on the internet, the author stated that soldiers are more likely to get away with crimes(i.e murder) than your average civilian, if never caught. Do you agree?

I wonder if the reason was to bring blacks into the military.
I think the North was running out of soldiers and needed replacements and the fastest soloution was to allow black soldiers to serve in combat?
This is a real question that I am looking for an answer to.
Historians help me out here.

I get so tired of Republicans claiming "lower taxes" and "smaller government".

Did Bush really make a "smaller government"?

Did Bush really save you any money (if you weren't already rich)?

My student loans are now impossible for me to pay.
The only jobs in my area are telemarketing and fast food.

Bush's "conservative" America sucks.

Hong Kong is more capitalist than the U.S. with less reliance on government, low taxation and very few purely public institutions.

Is the American system inferior? Or does America's more socialistic approach make more sense?

I just answered a question (that I think may have been sarcastic) proposing a ban on alcohol. Their defense was that they don't drink, and alcohol kills people.

What does it say about our view of freedoms when people call for banning of things simply because they don't agree or partake with them? I don't understand why ANYONE would ask the government to restrict what a grown adult has the right to do. Don't they do enough of that on their own without our interest and insistance of more frivolous bans?

When you watch the video footage you can clearly see his wife retreaveing a portion of his skull off of the trunk of the car. Any body knows the a gun shot from behind would cause a large exit wound in the front of the skull. That did not happen. If Jackie is retrieveing a portion of his skull from the trunck than he was shot from the front or the side not the back. What do you think?

OK, we all agree that Bush is a tyrannical dictator right?

Well lets just say that China decides that Bush and his administration are a threat to their national security, and they invade and defeat our military. They then capture Bush and all of his cronies and jail them. Then, they inform every American that they are going to install a good Socialist government run by Americans. And when it is all done they will go home and we will live happily ever after.

Do you fight back? If so, to what end and why?

With Scotland having its own parliament, why are we getting a Scot to be our leader? We didn't elect him, so what right has he to be there? Time for a general election I think. Dont You?

Ok so we have banned smoking from July st, so why don't we ban drinking.
I smoke but don't drink, I do not like seeing drunken people falling all over the place when I am out and about. I am fed up with seeing beer cans and bottles in the street and on the roads. The hospitals are fed up with treating booze related illnesses. Why have they not banned drinking on planes? why should I sit near some one who has has a few to many and are creating mayhem. I am just a pi**ed off smoker.

i know our welfare system is, for a lack of a better word...crap! And i know people abuse the system by staying on it for years and never getting their butts up and getting a job. But there are others that need a little bit of help for a few months or so until they get back up on their feet. Considering the other side of things, do you still think we should just do away with welfare

Is it time to dump the Butcher´s Apron? I´m British, but just don´t feel any affinity to that flag - it´s the flag you waived when you robbed and brutalised and subjugated the unfortunate countries you conquered, remember!

Also, let´s remember the cross is a Christian symbol, and the Union Jack had not one but three crosses in it! Britain´s NOT a Christian society and this is offensive to Muslims!

The English flag is the most offensive, it was used in the Crusades, don´t forget...

WASHINGTON - Immigration has supplanted Iraq as the leading issue on television and radio talk shows, complicating the prospects of a Senate bill desperately wanted by President Bush.

Conservative talk radio's impact on the immigration debate reached new heights last week, with one host effectively writing an amendment for when the Senate returns to the imperiled bill this week.

I'm taking an online class and one of our discussion questions was about whether or not we agreed the the police in Florida handcuffing a 5 year old that was acting up in class. I was just wondering what everyone else's opinion on it was. Some opinions that have been expressed have been very..unusual. Here's the link for the video

Will they finally secure our borders and kick out the illegal squatters in our country? How many times do the American people have to say no to this crap before the Senate stops trying to give away the country?
