Remember one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. The terrorist looks like any other person. He/she is normally upset with the government of the day.

He/She is the one who says and believes that, "If you do not give me what I want, I will deliberately kill and maim civilians in any way I can while hiding behind and amongst them, not in uniform).
It is not the guy who shoots the terrorist and kills the bystanders as a result though not aiming at them.
It is not the guy who shoots through the bystanders to kill the terrorist to save far more bystanders by not letting the terrorist get away.
It is not a President tracking down and killing terrorists who sends our brave men and women to battle.
A terrorist thinks he is owed something, and if you don't give it to him, he is justified in doing anything.
They are closely related to people who think they are owed something, and since they got it, they have the right to say anything and not be questioned or called on it.
That's called sedition. You have some examples above and perhaps below my post.

There is no perfect description. If you believe what they stand for then they are freedom fighters. Besides they are not new. The malefactors that were crucified with Jesus could also have been termed as terrorists.

I expected laughable answers. Happily disappointed. I suppose terrorist is like porn, difficult or impossible to define- but we all know it when we see it. Humans are hypocrites, so it's usually terrorism when it happens to "our" group. When "our" group does it to some other group, we use different terms, so it's not terrorism.

A terrorist is someone who commits acts of terror against a populace. A terrorist can be anyone because anyone is capable of acts of terror.

according to the Bush administration policies, it is anyone who resorts to acts that will disrupt business, or anyone who resorts to acts our government disagrees with.
But in reality, terrorist are any entity that resorts to violent actions in order make their message known, if the person viewing the situation disagrees with their cause.

I dont think that all of them look like that
cause there might be a lot people that look like angels on the outside but in the inside are such TERRORISTS!!

Just watch a little television, you will know him when you see him. He's the guy who talks about fighting them there so we don't have to fight them here. After all you wouldn't want to find the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud would you?
