So, why has President Bush had the lowest approval rating of any president in history? America has become disillusioned by the BS of ALL politicians.

It's true, I can't stand the current administration these days, but for all intents and purposes I am neither Republican, democrat or independent. As for the low approval rating - I think the voters thought they were going to get major changes fast, but what we have is a congress that does not listen to their constituents and a chimp that believes he is above the law and he can make demands and the congress? Well they are afraid of his veto. Actually if congress did what they promised to do, the American people would be pleased - except those that his administration is pleasing these days.
I think the media doctors the approval ratings.

quite simple actually, people elected them to set the tone for change, they don't have enough power yet to over ride fillibusters(maybe they should go back to the Nuklar option Bush liked so much) and vetoes, so they can't get done what the people want...people who talk about congressional approval ratings and link it to Democrats only show a complete lack of rational thought, their are many people in congress, Democrats and Republicans...See, Harry Reid has a real low approval, some say in the teens, Nancy Pelosi is in the 30's, it differs. Use some thought, Bush's approval is solely based on him, so lets compare apples to apples

Get genuine The Democrats have basically controlled congress considering that January (6 months). The low congressional rankings are a effect of activities (or inactivities) from 14 years of management (or lack thereof) from the different area of the aisle. The low rankings in each government branch are all GOP pushed.

It doesn't matter if there is a little "R" or a little "D" by their names while they spout off nonsense on TV. Partisan beliefs should be abandoned and realize that there is NO difference at the top level between these two parties. It is not the Republicans vs. the Democrats; it is the Republicans and the Democrats versus us. They are corrupt and controlled by the global elite, its a one party system under the guise that "we have a choice".

The dem Congress has a low approval rating because they failed to get us out of Iraq. Pelosi and Hoyer are cowards who caved in to Bush and gave him what he wants on Iraq.

The reason is not only Democrats , if you remember some of those old geysers Republicans are also being graded. How can you put a bill through when there just enough of those old Rep. left in Senate to vote against every bill, if you get one through old Chimpy vetoes, you can't win for losing. But, just wait in 2008 your party is dead , we want have to put up with all those geysers ruining every thing like they always do, what a sorry mess they can make. Like it or not Bush killed your party just like our troops are being killed.

One has nothing to do with the other. Bush's mistakes are his, even if he won't accept responsibility for them.
As for congress there are 535 members, about half republican, so the low opinion reflects on both parties.

You seem to forget that there are people in this world who have no political affiliation and they are not interested in democrat controlled congress but only in bagging the worst man on the planet and the worst president there has ever been.
