Now that every country in the world knows how to take on a massive conventional military like the US has by mainly using guerilla warfare in highly populated areas like cities & large towns where innocent civilians can be used as shields & w/ things such as the Pentagon's "US Rules of engagement" preventing troops from killing the enemy, might if be time for the US military to stop spending so much on things like One $100 Million Raptor fighter/bomber, & much more on special forces/counter insurgency stuff?

What good is a $100 Million Raptor plane if it blows up 10 terrorists & 50 innocent civilians that happen to be in the same building & their are zero enemy planes & no radar/SAMs tracking it? Heck, a Boeing 737 could drop a GPS bomb on a house in Iraq & it costs about $10 Million.

No one is dumb enough to take on the US in a conventional war anymore so why does the US spends so much on conventional warfare? Is China going to attack the US conventionally? Not a chance.

Indian is the greatest living example "participatory democracy". But due to various reasons people do not go out and exercise their franchise on the day of elections. But they keep on voicing vocifarously about lack of sincerity in administering the State. These complaints are not attended to by service providers. In order to make people to take active part in participatory democracy an elected representative has created a e.governance website with online complaints monitoring system, for the first time, in India with website www.rajajinagara.kar.nic.in. Yahoo worshippers are invited to give their views through the suggestions window in the home page. The site provides nice photos of folklore of Karnataka and its heritage in the photo gallery.

why is that?
it is a plan vwry well execute by years of disrupt history education establish by the gov. to brainwash the American population so they can be manipulate and direct to a false nationalism that create chaos around the world??
think for yourself and do not stick with the first book ,keep researching and then use your brain to get a fair conclution without let the nationalism beast that leaves in you take control of your thoughts!!!

Numbers USA says these Senators, while leaning against voting for the actual bill, are leaning TOWARDS voting for cloture, which is where their vote would count most. If cloture fails, the rest of the games the gang of 12 have to push the bill through don't work.

Do they represent you? Will you call/fax them and ask them to vote no on cloture because this bill is unfixable?

Remember, the new bill number is S. 1639.

Was Rushdie granted his knighthood (by Blair's government, the queen has no say in who is to be knighted) in order to antagonise the middle east, particularly Iran? Why was the backlash not considered, at a time when relations with Iran have seldom been more strained? Was it a deliberate sabotage of the nuclear negotiations? Would this also work out to bring public favour against Iran even further, after the Iranian media portray the Queen as "the English hag"?

As a 43 year old architect, I've explained in here a good dozen times why the towers came down, as well as explaining the demise of bldg 7. Yet for all of the engineering and architectural axioms I can offer (as well as explanations that I've read by other professionals offered in these forums) they STILL refuse to believe in factual science.

What are you all looking for? And please dont waste your time or mine typing out "I want the truth" because 'the truth' has been offered to you a thousand times and you still rail against it.

As we have seen In Lebanon elections do not always achieve the results America would like to see .
When tens of millions of Mexicans elect our future leaders we will then be changed forever . Soon we will all be speaking Spanish of some kind .

Insurance companies take a slice of the pie and cause doctors undue amounts of paper work and additional workers to handle getting paid and often today include a lawyer .
So to get that boil lanced and drained on your bottom , you have to pay everyone involved in collecting the money .

This is what has made health care so expensive .
We need to end the practice of insurance when it comes to health care .
