Numbers USA says these Senators, while leaning against voting for the actual bill, are leaning TOWARDS voting for cloture, which is where their vote would count most. If cloture fails, the rest of the games the gang of 12 have to push the bill through don't work.

Do they represent you? Will you call/fax them and ask them to vote no on cloture because this bill is unfixable?

Remember, the new bill number is S. 1639.

Marilyn, all the more reason you have to let him know his job is on the line, because voters are watching the cloture vote. Otherwise he may vote yes on cloture and no on the final bill and pretend he tried to stop it.

YES ! I have blistered the fax to Congressman Burr`s office for the last 2 weeks . I have paid $60.00 on one site to get a fax sent to the President , every member of Congress , and all Governors ! I keep my local radio stations` fax on fire also as they are very supportive against this Ted Kennedy " get me more votes legal or not Bill S.1639" !! They need to be reminded that they are dealing with at least 80% of the Legal Taxpaying American Citizens that are against them and their fool idea ; which is why the Congress has a rating of 14% !! If they can`t see the light at the end of this tunnel it`s because their heads are up their gluteious maximus where the sun don`t shine !

No Senator or Representative who has not demanded immediate enforcement of current laws on the books represents me or truly any other U.S. Citizen. They passed the laws and the laws must be enforced. Whether these people vote for this law or against, they are not representing the people unless the laws are enforced. The only way that is going to happen is if we impeach them all and set up a new government that will do its job.

Or maybe we can find some of these gung ho business lawyers who will help the U.S. Citizens file a specific performance against the government Lawsuit.

I have contacted Kit Bond (from my home state of Missouri) multiple times at multiple offices to let him (through his staff) know about my opposition to the amnesty bill. I have encouraged him not only to vote "no" on the amnesty bill (if it comes to a vote), but also to vote not on cloture.

I recommend this to everyone with a senator in one of these states -- most senators have mutliple offices in their states -- CALL EACH BRANCH OFFICE AND TALK TO THE STAFF THERE. Each call will register as a "no" vote!!!! If they ask for your name and contact info, give it to them accurately each time, but call every place that senator gets his or her info from. You can multiply the effect of your voice that way!

One of my senator has voted no...think he'll stick, still letting him know my thoughts.
The other is pro. Apparently won't listen. But I keep trying to get my answers thru to her. I wonder if illegals and pros are sorting her messages and letters. I figure I'll be voting against her.

I live in Neveda so Ensign would be the man to contact.I am afraid the casinos in Vegas have so much power, they wouldn't know what to do without all of the maids and porters they have working God knows how illegaly.

none of them represent me, but the ones who do ( Spector & Casey) have heard from me. They are voting for the bills and cloture, so I will do all within my power and will urge others to vote them out of office.

I'm doing broadcast emails to all of them, and specific emails to the idiot Senator from my own state on that list.
