Bush is glad they are here and wants to grant them Amnesty today if possible.

If what you say about President Bush is true, then every undereducated American [many of them minorities] should be jumping up and down to have the immigration bill derailed.

Those illegals are depressing wages in jobs Americans could have if only they weren't here. The illegals are also pushing rents up that our poorer workers would like to keep down.

Now, what was your point?

Amazingly, poorer Americans tend to support the Democrats who are in favor of even more immigration and the amnesty provisions .. go figure.

Personally, I think the Congressional Black Caucus should vote en mass against the immigration bill and in favor of much stiffer enforcement. If that means they break with Speaker Pelosi, so be it. She's way too far out anyway.
