Scott L, I have lived and visited Fiji Islands, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Great Britain, Scotland, Ireland, Japan, Germany, and France. All the while that I lived there and went to the doctors never experienced the infamous long waiting lines.

It is not possible to prove a lie! Our system is not the best. We do have some highly trained doctors, and high level technological advances and so forth, but our so called system is entirely profit driven, and supports mostly only those with the best insurance or the most money! We need a system that works equally well for everyone! The idea that some people, are better than others just because they happen to have more money is appalling to me, and many other people. *sm*

The survey that shows satisfaction with received health care in America is higher than all the other countries surveyed. The fact that the wait for services in this country is actually shorter than other countries.
Why don't you actually travel to another country and look at the people. See how messed up the average persons' teeth are--no dentistry. See all the people who have an obvious medical problem. Then come back and walk around this country. See people getting treated in the ER the SAME DAY they walk in instead of some time the next day. People with cancer not having to wait 4 weeks to see a specialist (like Canada).
I don't need to prove it, I've been other places. I'll stick with the US health care system.

There really is none! it is mostly propaganda! True we are very innovative in providing care for those who can pay for it, but lack far behind in preventive medicine.
And guess what, a lot of high tech gadgets (which increase cost) are not necessary, if only our physicians would be trained again to go back to basic exam techniques.
But most of them don't know how to take a pulse anymore.

it's all a lie! we have greedy doctors that go through a decade of waiting tables, delivering pizzas, all while cramming huge amounts of minute information into tthier heads all night while guzzling coffee so they can pass exams, all the while while racking up 6 figures worth of debt, just so they can become doctors. Then they open up plush offices, and when i get sick ( which was not my fault btw) or my wife gets pregnant (again a total accident) I am forced to go to him. He DARES send ME a bill and expects ME to pay for it? Why? Who the hell does he think he is???? I have A RIGHT to HIS TIME. I have a RIGHT to his labor. he has no right to expect ME to pay for it! GREED.

There is none, unless your a stockholder for an insurance company, or hospital. Americas health care system is a pathetic excuse for it, the care you receive is pretty decent, but do you like paying 10-15,000 for and overnight stay, I sure don't.

None. We don't really have a "system" but we do have some of the best doctors, hospitals, etc. The tragedy is that thanks to corporate special interests and lobbyists, we don't have the reform we need to actually have a US Health Care System.

Because, WE THE PEOPLE, fend for ourselves. We're not like other countries whose citizens need the government to do everything for them.
If one can't come up with a way to pay for their own needs, that just proves "survival of the fittest." Lets get rid of the junk.
